Setting up gmail with voxcommando

Hi, I have a gmail account set up for emails and would like to use VC to retrieve them or tell me what's come in new etc, I've been looking at the forum today but can't seem to find any tutorials on on how to go about it, if I have missed something on here could someone please post me a link so I can set this up, if I have missed something then I'm sorry but I have had a good look, even if someone could point me in the right direction would be a great help, thanks guys

Some points of reference:

To access your gmail account, you'll need to first set up your account in VC Options: http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Options#Email

The gmail actions for checking your email are: http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Actions#Gmail

And the related SMTP actions for sending email: http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Actions#SMTP

The only video that I know of that discusses using Gmail is in Fireside Chat #3 around the 9-minute mark. That segment discusses sending email from Vox using Gmail, rather than checking your email but it may still be helpful if the wiki documentation is not clear enough.

i have set up gmail and told voxcommando to read out the emails (tts.speak {LastResult} but it just reads the weather? any idea's???

PLEASE post us your used command! You can drag and drop it direct in the posting.
There are so much possibilities why your command doesn't work. Give us so much information you can like which version of VC you use, which VC plugin you use, ...
