VoxCommando with human touch
« on: April 14, 2017, 10:18:17 AM »
I tried configuring VC with human touch following this video

&index=49&list=WL&t=306s

I believe I did everything correctly but after I initiate the greeting (first payload) nothing else happens.  VC (Jarvis) doesn't ask me anything else.

Attached is a copy of the log.  Please show me where I'm going wrong.  I'm also getting confuse with the different icons because the version of VC in the video is different from the version that I have, hence the icons are different.

Thanks for the log and the reference to the video that you followed.

When trying to get help with a command that you have tried to create it is best to post the xml for the command you created so that we can see what you actually did.  This makes it easier (or possible) for us to see what mistakes you might have made.

It's also a good idea to link to the original forum post itself, instead of just the video, so that we can see if there are any additional instructions that accompany the video.

Before trying to follow this video you need to understand the basics of VoxCommando.  You are trying to do something advanced without even know how to create a basic command.

I recommend you watch the tutorials found here first:

http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Video_Tutorials#Core_Concepts

Especially important to watch Editing and Building commands 1A and 1B.

Yes the icons are different but all the core concepts apply and a group is still a group, and command is still a command, and action is still an action and an event is still an event.

You should also look this page over which describes the building blocks and uses the correct icons.
