If you know how to make your own command, the parameter helper makes this quite easy:

If you don't know how to make your own commands, why not give it a go?  Check out the following resources:

I, too, would recommend creating the command from scratch.

There are, however, some examples/tutorials on the forum. Search for "what time is it" in quotes.

e.g., Kalle's post: http://voxcommando.com/forum/index.php?topic=72.msg6990#msg6990

In this case it's not an issue, but in general I would caution new users to be careful when borrowing xml from older threads. VC is in constant development and sometimes older posts don't capture the most efficient solution now available (or you'll run into problems by, for example, trying to use command xml meant for XBMC Eden when you have XBMC Frodo).

It's often better to first explore the preset commands in your own command tree to find related examples, and use those as a launching point for building new commands along with the documentation provided. If that fails, then turn to the forum. JMHO.
TIPS: POST VC VERSION #. Explain what you want VC to do. Say what you've tried & what happened, or post a video demo. Attach VC log. Link to instructions followed.  Post your command (xml)
