I have boughta license Voxcommando a few months ago, but I don't use it at this moment as I think that it is not compatible anymore.. There is a new version of mediaportal, and also a new version of wifi remote..

Are you still working on a new version including MP support? I would really like to see some update(s)..

Which version of MediaPortal and WifiRemote are you referring to?

I will need to install MediaPortal so I can look into it.

I just tested the latest version of VoxCommando: 0.980 with MediaPortal and everything seems to work fine with the default English MediaPortal configuration that comes with VC.

VC 0.980 can be downloaded here:  http://voxcommando.com/downloads.asp

Here are all the versions I used:

Windows 7 64bit
MediaPortal version 1.2.3
WifiRemote version 0.7.1

...and the latest versions I could find of Tv-Series plugin and Moving-Pictures plugins for MediaPortal (sorry I can't remember which versions and my test machine is off now but I don't think this is really important).

I installed VC to an empty folder and selected the standard MediaPortal configuration.

Please try this.  If you have problems, please be specific, and I will try to help you, or if there is a bug I will try to fix it...
