How can start MCE with my voice
« on: September 30, 2010, 04:03:28 PM »
Hello,
i have the *exe from version 0.82 and i can't found a command or phrase that make start the MCE (my language is german). I know that "C:\Windows\ehome\ehshell.exe" start the MCE with a doubleclick. But what must i do with this *exe that VoxCommando make the doubleclick. I have make "C:\Windows\ehome\ehshell.exe" in the commandbuilder with SendKeys but it doesn't open the MCE. I play with the programm since 4 weeks but the right logic for me i have no found (i must say that i am in my first life a car daeler an in my second life i go in the underworld with name computer).
I have success with the programm, i say (in german) are you ready and the computer make düüdldüü (a soundfile from Enterprise) with SoundplayWav in buildcommander - its great.
But the other thinks i have little problems or my understand for the thinks is a little small.
I hope you can bring a little drive in my attempts when you have time for this.
Thank you, also for this cool programm.

you just need to use the launch command.

in command builder you use

command:     Launch.RawParam
parameters:    C:\Windows\ehome\ehshell.exe

Feel free to ask any other questions. I am happy to help if I can.

EDIT: note that sendkeys is for performing keyboard emulation. :)

You can't do anything directly with an .xls file  I think he just created that as a reference.

I am putting together something for you with German commands, but updated to the new version.  Stay tuned.

just unzip this to a folder and run it.

...and you should be good to go using WMC in german.  Let me know how it goes.

wow, little tears in my eyes - german words in VoxCommando are looking out from my monitor, big thank.
At first - its going. When i test it i do this with my Headset from Plantronics, i can speak quietly (my wife say - you speak like telefons....x).
I think from start to ready is 1-2 sec more like the 0.82 (for me no problem).

Another question please,
i have in MCE button left, up an any other, i think i have see in on video from you that i can make when i say "go left" that he is going 2 or 10 or 25 to left or up or down, there is in command builder under the phrase another "thing" - what must i do?

I hope they are tears of joy!

If you do not use the "ask for artist or album by name" functions, you can turn that off in the options and VC will load much faster.

drag the attached xml onto your command tree to import it.  You can change the word sprung to something else if you want...

I haven't tested it but I'm pretty sure it will work... ::)

It is not going - Vox is after install not running.
What i have done.
Example, under button left is the phrase (links), go up to "insert phrases or payloads" then "Payload from XML" then "value, phrase"
then right mouseclick on "value,phrase (under the phrase "links") then xml, then "load (select file)" and i select the "WMC move multiple.xml"
then save and out and then new start and vox is not running it comes a error message.

Edit 04.10.2010 at 21:52MEZ:
I have found the video and in this video in commandbuilder you have take under the "phrase" the "payload list" and then "payload range".
I have testet this without "payload list" only with "payload range" and now when i say in MCE "links" (left), he is going to left and he stoped no, only when i say "stop" he stoped.

I am not really sure what it is that you are trying to do, but if you are receiving an error message you should tell us what the message says.

You said that VoxCommando is not working, but I guess you got it working again since your first post?

If you want to send me your voicecommands.xml file I can try to help, but I am not really sure what you are trying to accomplish.

OK.  The scrolling is achieved by looping the command in VoxCommando.  Any time a command is looping it will break the loop (stop looping) as soon as VoxCommando hears any other command.  So you can create a command to stop scrolling using any phrase that you want.  You can just use a "dummy" command that doesn't actually do anything.  It is also possible to set the speed of the loop and the maximum number of times the command will loop.  You can do this in the command builder.

As you say, we can look at the error tomorrow.  If you wish,  maybe you can write in German and I can use Google translate to read it ?

you didn't attach WmcDirectionsGerman.xml

the voicecommands.xml file seems to be fine.

maybe you should zip up your whole folder and send it to me.  I think maybe you did something to the WmcDirectionsGerman.xml file?

You need to have phrases and values for each entry in the payloadxml file.  In this case the values need to stay as they were when I uploaded the original files.
Code: [Select]
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<!--A VoxCommando Payload file-->
<PayloadsRoot>
    <payload>
        <value>button-up</value>
        <phrase>hoch, rauf</phrase>
    </payload>
    <payload>
        <value>button-down</value>
        <phrase>runter</phrase>
    </payload>
    <payload>
        <value>button-left</value>
        <phrase>links, nach links</phrase>
    </payload>
    <payload>
        <value>button-right</value>
        <phrase>rechts, nach rechts</phrase>
    </payload>
</PayloadsRoot>

if I unzip this and run it, I don't get any error.  Strange...

I supposed it could be that it only happens with a German OS.  I will try to switch to German and run it again when I get a chance.
