I put a link to 0.931 in the first post of this thread.  Bug fixes and I've added the command

XBMC.SetConnection

so that you can switch between controlling different XBMC machines.

@Kalle I think I fixed the MM.SoftMute/Unmute bug.

Installed it but now VC will not start.. Just getting a silly error from win7..
Not sure if this is VC or my pc, but i'm guessing it is my pc since it's living it's own life sometimes.
The biggest problem is that I forgot to backup my setup.

maybe you should tell us what the "silly error" is.  Also did you do a fresh install or are you trying to install on top of an existing VC folder?

Sorry, the silly error is just that VC has stoped working.
I installed it over 0.921 after reading Kalles post..
But it's not just VC whos not acting normal, a lot of other programs har having problems as well, so I still believe that it is not VC fault..

OK.  Good luck getting it sorted out.  Reinstalling windows can be very liberating, if you have the time.

Took me 5 hours but now I'm all done installing Vista on a new home server.

Installed 0.931 and it works again (just don't have my old config and unsure on how to get it back)
The old config was on a w7 x64 and now I'm on Vista x86 so it would be great if someone told me how to get it back..


another thing is that VC 0.931 sometimes give me an error but I have an option to ignore it or close VC.
If I ignore it everything seems ok..

Get it back from where?  Did you format the drive it was on?

That is an error that I have never seen before.  I wonder if it could be related to vista.  I don't think too many people are using vista any more so it's possible that's why no one has mentioned it before.  It looks like it has something to do with the notification icon changing colours.  Does this error occur when VC changes modes?  (i.e from On to Standby etc.)

If so does it happen every time, or only under certain circumstances, and if so what are they circumstances?  I'm going to need your help on this one since you are the only one having the problem and I don't have any vista machines to test it on.

My lady will be back in December and I think her laptop is still running Vista.

For anyone who is interested in testing the new keyboard emulation plugin (hopefully works with most games) here is the thread with the new plugin:

just in case you didn't see it.

It's in the early stages now but seems to work.  I'm open to suggestions on making it better, and also to know when it does and does not work.  (i.e. what games, what OS)

Actually it's fully functional but needs some UI enhancements and maybe an extra "enterText" command for typing full strings.

Currently I"m use this format for key combinations:

{LeftShift}{LeftControl}{W}

but maybe it would be easier if I used

LeftShift+LeftControl+W

what do you think?
