Pandora bot

Hi James,

I have a little of the pandorabot Zotac tinkered and (I think) hammer out a multi-language SuperBot. German and English work. French please test. Have all the AIML files of Dr. Wallace and Grossman inserted in the Bot, more than 44000 categories.

good work, but i think one bot per language would be better.
If the bot doesn't understand a phrase he will answer english.

But I would prefer a local aiml bot anyhow

I also think that a single language per bot makes more sense, but I supposed maybe it could be good for some users...  I don't know.

@gap, do you know how to set up a local bot?  I assume you mean local as in running on the same computer or lan so that you don't have to connect through the internet?

Ok, i have only german enabled  , the multi language was only a test

Well, I had ProgramD ( http://aitools.org/Program_D ) running for a few weeks.
But I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement into Voxcommand, maybe a possibility would be to let the bot run in the background, and simply send / receive phrases?

It would be quite interesting if we could be seamlessly integrated into the Pandorabot the help of VC, right? Not necessarily as a speech, but show as OSD text.

example:

User:  Pandorabot what can I do with VC.Standby command?

PandoraBot:  Puts VoxCommando into (Standby / Yellow) mode. VoxCommando will then only respond to special commands.

My idea was to use the database in pandorabot

I would probably adapt what I have already done with the "Generate Help Menu".

no, it only runs in console, but i guess it would be possible to compile as a dll and access it directly from vc.
but i'am not sure it's worth it

btw: Do you know the tv-show Eureka? SARAH is what i want.... one can dream, right?

no, it doesn't seem worth the hassle, especially since the web based bots seem to work fine as long as you have a decent internet connection.  The only real need would be for something like a carputer where internet was a problem.

I saw a bit of the first season of Eureka years ago.  Wasn't Sarah a PITA though?

So I have been looking into different AI to pair with my Vox. Was wondering if it is possible to set up your own and use your own? Also if that is the case I would like to incorperate an MS agent charecter. Has anyone done this with VOX or Pandorabot? I think most any AI would work not actually in unison with VOX my thing is I want my charecter to float free have not found an AI program to do that yet. I know this is possible, i have seen it with mIRC at my work. Any way any ideas or setups that seem to be working for other useres I would be intrested in hearing about them. Thanks!

You can create your own personal pandorabot for sure, especially if it is available to VC via http.  I don't know about the rest of it.  If you have something in particular that you want to use, let me know and we'll see if we can hook VC up to it.  If you want to use a pandorabot, you can train it how you want, even if you host it on the free pandorabot servers.

We can also make pandorabots generate events that do things on VC.  Let me know if you are interested in exploring this!

You can also make your own KI, with the Logic Command Builder in VC (If - Then - Else) and Random TTS-Command (TTS.Speak: Yes | Ok | Yes Master | ... ) - like StarTrek feeling.
