Noise Canceling?

Should it not be possible by "Noise Canceling" much noise to filter out everything?
One knows that the signal to the speakers (TV) goes.
When rotated by 180 degrees and this signal is mixed with the microphone input signal, it should filter out yourself.
Is just an idea.

You can use a noise cancelling microphone.

It is not possible using software alone with the windows speech recognition engine.

We have implemented a solution for this using Microsoft Kinect but it is not 100% reliable.

It is not really enough to know what sound is being sent to the TV either because of the complex way in which sound (especially multichannel audio) travels around a room and bounces off of different surfaces.

To get true noise cancellation requires a special headset.
