Plex and Vera LuaUPnP restarts
« on: October 29, 2014, 12:34:18 PM »
Saw this on the micasaverde forums.  Thought it may be of use.  It might explain why i have been having strange latency issues at home.

Should be an easy theory to test!

Fixed all my issues, 24 hour without a LUA engine restart. Worked with Vera tech support for over 9 months to try and diagnose  :bonk

I am overall very happy with my Vera but technical support is not an area where they particularly shine (not that their documentation, or UI design teams are any better).  I had a similar problem with my Onkyo except in this case it was the Vera interfering with the Onkyo, causing the Onkyo networking and USB systems to crash.

I think UPNP is a dangerous world...

Universal Prug and Pray indeed.
