with VC sooner or later one start looking for good mics ... and in the boards there is a lot of terms that I could not understand due to my complete ignorance about mics ...

I'm sure there is some good info in there, but a lot of it is very specific to Crown products.  I would prefer to find a resource that is more general.  I never really thought about it because I am already familiar with 90% of the terminology.
