Pay attention to the date that command xml was posted. Commands may have been designed for XBMC Eden rather than Frodo or later.
VoxCommando version 1 supports XBMC Eden via a set of core actions that begin with the prefix "XBMC" (e.g. XBMC.SoftMute).
http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Actions_V1#XBMCXBMC Frodo and higher rely on the
xJson plugin instead. Rather than using actions with the prefix "XBMC", you must use the equivalent xJson actions (e.g. xJson.SoftMute).
http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Plugin_XJson#Plugin_DescriptionYou should also make sure you've followed the installation video tutorial correctly (
). It explains how to install the XBMC addon "VoxTools", which many of the xJson actions require in order to function correctly.
VoxCommando version 2 no longer supports Eden. Again, you need to use xJson.---- actions in your commands, and you should be careful when using XBMC command xml posted on the forum.
