VoxWav to VC to XBMC..... Where did I go wrong
« on: February 08, 2014, 08:59:09 PM »
Hi all!

I found this wonder addon when researching cinema experience.  So I jumped on it quickly!  WOW.

I set up everything according to the video.  However, I messed up somewhere because it's not working.   I speak, it makes it to VC (check to see last wav).   I set up XBMC according to the video.   I say "Browse tv shows" and a box appears with those words on my screen but xbmc does nothing.

I have selected allow control of xbmc...

Changed port from 80 to 8080

Allow program on this system is checked.

Allow programs on other system is checked.

Did I miss anything?

Also, When I go to programs within XBMC and click on VC, I get a script error.   I downloaded the latest and installed to Frodo.

Looks like VoxCommando is understanding you so either you've mixed up Eden and Frodo configurations, or you have failed to configure your VC/XBMC settings.  Double check ports, IP addresses, and make sure your firewall is not blocking you.  Basically watch the correct install video (Eden or Frodo) and follow ALL the steps and you should be good to go.
