Help please xbmc commands

hi ive followed the info on the tutorials and im still stuck  / not working...... im missing something

voice commands

I can launch xbmc  go left and right select etc etc . but cannot browse music  or movies .......or play artist james blunt.....ie I see the commands on the screen at 97% but nothing happens.
as I said simple commands work .....go left go right select I can play music and movies by going left/right select, just not direct ie play artist james blunt.  any sugestions thx

1. Did you have install the voxtool addon in XBMC?

let us know if this solved your problem.

If not, please post the voxlog.txt from VC main folder this help us a lot to see what is going on.

Please be more specific than "ive followed the info on the tutorials" which could mean anything really.  I recommend you read the forum rules for guidelines on how to ask for help in an efficient manner.  There is a link in my signature.

Ok vc enabled in xbmc all settings as per tutorial script fails in xbmc   im stuck sorry guys

What tutorial?  Provide a link.  What version of XBMC, what version of VoxCommando, what VC configuration did you select when you first ran VC  etc. etc. etc.

You obviously have not read the forum rules/guidelines.

Based on what you are saying, you have not configured your xjson plugin correctly, or you have not set up xbmc correctly to allow control using the webserver / json api.

OK im a blithering stupid sleep deprived idiot when looking at the settings on xbmc the port displayed 80.........I thought as by default 8080  nope I had to define the last 2 digits all sorted now

to those of you who have helped thanks .....as per the rules   hahaha I got 5 kids under 8 ......no time to read them       love it  love  happily buy.
