VoxWav on a smartwatch

Hi guys, today I will show you a first "hands on" video with the brand new smartwatch (Omate/Simvalley) which works with VoxWav.

The watch comes with 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth.
A craddle/case is include to charging the battery over USB.

Nice!  Thanks for the video Kalle.  The omate watch looks really promising as an all in one solution for VoxCommando and VoxWav.  I can't wait to get mine as start testing it with the tilt action etc.  Soon I hope!

Yeah, the voice is good, but I was actually talking about the audio quality of the speaker.  Very clear and loud, at least that's how it seemed on the video.

Yes I'm wondering me to, also music sounds really good. Don't forget that my thumb was on the speaker in the video , so I can say it is much louder in real as in the video

Cool, has the glasses buttons?
If VoxWav run on your glasses and the recognation is not real good, don't forget to take a look in the TcpMic plugin settings in VC. There is an Volume option - adjust it to a lower input (20-30%)

Thanks for the information about audio settings, I may need to try that as the mic actually pics up a lot of ambient noise (can give Glass voice commands from across the room).  The Glass has a touch pad interface but does not use a "cursor" or anything making input very limited.  Initially I just want to side load VoxWav with debug on and cursor on my pc to configure settings and test it.  Assuming the mic and recognition work ok may hire a developer to create an VoxWav/XMBC Glassware app.  I will certainly keep the thread posted as progress is made =)

You might be able to use the tilt sensor on glass to turn VoxWav on.  Only problem there is that you might need to look at the ceiling to give voice commands and this might result in a sore neck.

Interesting - the design looks at first pretty good and the price is ok, but here is a video in which is show you the watch wearing on a wrist and it looks really BIG or maybe this guy has a really small arm     )

Ha. Yes, it is big. But the guy in that video also has an extremely skinny wrist.

I think this is a necessary compromise if you want a usable screen, although I suppose the band does not need to be so wide.

Is the Vapirius model a Windows interface? It has a metro look to it. Doesn't look like an Android.

The Pearl/Omate also looks inelegant on a skinny wrist because it is so fat. At least, the Omate guy (LePen) does not look very sexy that watch on his flimsy little boy wrists.

Yes you've right, the design from Omate/Pearl is not the best but LePen has a wrist like a baby 

The vapirius is a android device (only the skin is windows phone), the simcard is in the wristband, so this part of the watch is not flexible.
