Upgrading VC
« on: December 03, 2015, 05:45:09 AM »
What's the best way to upgade VC.  Copy over my current one with the new one or remove the old one first?

Also, how many instances of VC can I run on a single licence.  I'm looking to add voice control in my kitchen?

Thanks

Do you mean that you'll be upgrading from a v1 version of VC to a version 2 license?

Either way, I would create a copy of your VC folder and then install the upgrade in the new one (that is, run the installer in the new folder), so that you have a backup if any issues arise.

One of these days, I'll get around to updating our FAQ. No idea why these questions aren't on it yet!

TIPS: POST VC VERSION #. Explain what you want VC to do. Say what you've tried & what happened, or post a video demo. Attach VC log. Link to instructions followed.  Post your command (xml)

Make a copy of your folder as a backup, then install upgrade on top of original folder.

License details are on the purchase page.

Two computers are allowed per license.
