Can you clarify what you mean by "enable connection"?

Generally the 2 programs communicate via udp, using Eventghost's Broadcaster plugin.

TIPS: POST VC VERSION #. Explain what you want VC to do. Say what you've tried & what happened, or post a video demo. Attach VC log. Link to instructions followed.  Post your command (xml)

I don't think this is related to either VC or the Broadcaster plugin.

Broadcaster would normally only generate events that start with "Broadcast." not "System." unless you have manually changed the broadcaster plugin settings.

And of course, VC only sends UDP messages to EventGhost when you execute an EG action.

This method of UDP communication between VC and EG has been extensively used for several years without any significant problems other than those caused by user error, so I suggest you look elsewhere for the cause.
