run VC and XBMC as admin?(right click on the programm exe "run as administrator")

can you see any action in commandline in the upper after trigger a command?

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), my wife and I both get high % using the same profile.  We have very basic english accents I guess.  In any case, it is not likely that I will be able to get her to test it over and over in the process of troubleshooting and debugging!

OK.  I have an idea of how I can test this, but I will need help from my loyal users.  If I upload a list of commands in English.  Would someone be willing to create a recording and send it back to me?  I can then use the recording to train a profile, and then later I can use the recording again to test the profile to make sure that VoxCommando is switching to it properly.

For this to work I will need:

- Someone who can read the english, but who has a pretty strong accent. (could be German, French, Portuguese or whatever)
- Good quality recording (preferably using a headset) in a quiet room
- a wav file.  I prefer if you can record and save directly to wav format to avoid any compression from mp3 or wma formats.
- you should pause for about 3-4 seconds between each command, but it is ok to put them all together in a single .wav file.

If anyone is interested and willing to do this, let me know and I will put together a script for you to read.

I will do that for you, i can record the commands with studioequipment in Steinberg Cubase 5.1 with Lexicon Omega Studio (ext. Soundcard for PC).
Send me a list of commands or text what you need.

PS: The Amulet software changes only the language profile of Windows, you can very well see in this video at 1:00 min

I feel like you are trying to make a point that I am not getting here.  I think one of us is not understanding the other.  I understand that the Amulet software changes the windows language profile.
 

sorry james, this was not a reproach (mistakes by google), I understand this now  , amulet remote only changes the language profile when running Windows Media Center with the amulet software

OK, it sounds like mouse and keyboard emulation.  I think I can provide something better within VoxCommando

When I said, "restart" I meant restart VoxCommando, not restart windows.

Even if you have an amulet remote, the only way to use it to change profiles is to use their software which only runs in Windows Media Center.

Yes i have, when any other person as you talk with VC with your Windows Speechprofil, VC does not understands this correctly.
For an example: with my speechprofil ("Kalle", with my speechtraining), when i say it in VC "what time is it" the command works fine (92%). If my wife says in VC "what time is it" with my speechprofil VC understand this (15-25%).
When I create a new speechprofil for my wife in Windows, and my wife trained this by windows speech recognition, VC works fine for my wife, but not for me.
Try it once and you'll see it  

Perhaps there is another way. The Windows Speech Recognition can be trained on and on, I'll just continue this with my wife in my profile, it might work. I think she thinks I'm already crazy, but it makes a lot of fun!

Hi James,

i create a macro with this Sofware (http://www.winautomation.com/) it is a 30day-trial. It has many functions to create many things to automate Windows (to complicatet for me) but i'll try the macrorecorder for mouse and keyboard emulating. With these programm is it easy to create a exe-file to start with launch-command in VC. I have not tested the speechprofil in VC, only the macro (it works). I do not have to restart Windows 7, there is a button "apply".

It's just an idea, as long as I do not have the Amulet remote control or for people they can not afford or want.

I need the profile's for my wife and daughter in order to use the HTPC. They kill me otherwise  
I don't know what amuletsoftware do to change the profil, but in Video change this with the button on the remote or by a speechcommand.

James i hope you understand my bad english. (half of google, and half of my school english)

I have createt a makro with a makrosofware "winautomation", but it works very slowly, it is not good for practice.

Hi James,

is it possible to install a command for the profile change in VC, as in Amuletremote?
Change "language profile" to a user (like "Kalle", and so on). On Amuletremote is a button, that can do this. (VB-script?)
That would be good for those who do not have an Amuletremote.

In the end it will lead to a better product.  I had been meaning to highlight those 'special' groups but this forced me to do it right away.
