I just upgraded to VoxCommando version VC 2.2.0.7 and I'm using a 5 C-Media USB Microphone. Before the upgrade I'll admit I was using a pretty old version of VoxCommando VC 2.1.2.9 but now that I've upgraded to the latest version my microphone keeps muting it's self and changing the microphone level to 0... Any idea why this would be happening? I'm sure it's an easy fix but I've spent 2 hours trying to figure it out and searching this forum. Thank you in advance for the help.

WMC / Live TV Mode

Quick question and I hope this is where I needed to place this question. In my bedroom, while running WMC in Live TV Mode I can ask Vox what the weather is like and it will respond via TTS with no issues. In the living room I try to do the same thing and there is no TTS audio until I escape out of Live TV mode. I'm sure it's a dumb setting and I feel dumb for even asking this question but I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks James, I'll give that a try. I am a GgCal user but wasn't sure if it was fixed in the latest update or not. Guess I'll be updating again. Ha!

James, I have now updated to VC 2.129, set the Vera Plugin to Verbose, and sent you an updated voxlog to your gmail account. Hope this helps and sorry to send it to your gmail and not a forum message. Couldn't seem to get the attachment to attach.

I did enable Verbose, VC was running, and I changed modes quite a few times. Guessing at this moment it's a lost cause.

I've had this plugin working for months now (VoxCommando 2 1.9.5.5) and all of the sudden today I'm getting a connection error. I even upgraded to the 2.1.2.1 version thinking that was it and still a connection error. Anyone else having this problem?

What is a good microphone for speech recognition? / A really really good mic!

I always see discussions about mics on here so I figured I'd pass this along. I just ordered a CAD Audio U7
USB Tabletop/Boundary microphone for the master bedroom and bathroom in my house and it works perfect! I was able to find these mics on ebay for like fifteen bucks and they are amazing. I'm able to walk back and forth between both rooms without any issues (well minus the shower). I'm sure you've heard this a million times but VoxCommando is amazing! I've been able to totally automate my home using this software because of it's user friendliness, wiki pages and youtube videos as guides, and this forum to help as a reference.

I'm trying to use them at separate times but I can't ever seem to get VC1 to recognize any of the commands. Like I've said, kinda new to all of this and the forum so I'm sure it has been stated many times. Sorry about that. I've got two mics currently setup (living room and bedroom) into one input using a a mixing board and don't have any troubles but when I switch to the bluetooth mic (to use on the patio or such) VC1 doesn't seem to hear the device but I'm showing levels coming in.
