I don't have an iPhone so there is no benefit to me on that part and the only extra feature that the iPhone has is the battery indicator, which is no big deal because the headset talks to you and tells you when the battery is low and if you press the power button at anytime it will tell you the battery level, also there is a battery icon on the windows task bar that is very accurate it even shows up when the unit is charging to show you when it is fully charged.
After some more researching I found that the + does stand for version two, which is the one I would suggest due to the A2DP support, meaning that you can send audio out to the headset and use the keys on the headset to control audio / video playback. V2 Also has good Skype support and will switch betten Skype and your Cell phone base on which the call is comming in on and will put skype / cell phone in away mode while you take the call. V2 is the version that will go into standby mode when you take the headset off your head but you can always press the button on the mic boom to do the same.
