Strange problems in 0.874 and 0.875

Since upgrading to 0.874, I have lost the ability to send commnds to XBMC (get a "can't connect" message) and the speechon/speechoff sounds no longer play when VC is turned to "on" or "standby".  I didn't find any errors until I checked on my XBMC port / password settings (all were correct) and I attempted to save my options.   Every time I try to save and close my options I get an 'unhandled exception' - Input string was not in a correct format error.  Same thing happens in 0.875.

Hi Colorider40,

have you updated your 0874 with 0875 or complete installion performed in a new folder? Just try a fresh install with 0875-XBMC in a new folder. Test if this is running, if so, then copy the voicecommand.xml from the old version to the new folder and test again. If the same error appears?

back up your options.xml file and keep it for later.

try just deleting your options.xml file and restarting then go and set your xbmc options.

If that fixes the problem, please send me your (old) options.xml file so that I can take a look at it.

Making a new folder and doing a fresh install seemed to work. I moved my voicecommands XML over, and every things back to normal.  Thanks for the help!

It sounds like your options.xml file had a bad setting.  Is there any chance you could send it to me for testing?
