just wanted to chime in here and give some added input about this mic.

i would highly recommend this mic at the price i have it mounted on the wall about 13' away from my couch and it picks up everything i say with about 95% accuracy. The only problem i i have found is that sometime when i give an "on" command it will think im saying "off" and i have no idea how to fix this issue. but other then that great mic great price.

Yeah, I sometimes have problems with "off" and "on".  the best solution is to use a better word like "activate" etc.  But I also found that using both "on" and "onn" (aliases separated by a comma) works well.  It seems to prefer "onn"... don't ask me why!
