what would you pay for the "perfect" microphone

I'm just curious, what you would be willing to pay for a microphone that worked really well, from any distance, and was easy to use in a way that would prevent it from triggering commands from your movies by accident etc.

I voted $100, the mic would have to be extremely good (almost impossibly good :)) for me to spend more on it. If it would be PERFECT, meaning 100% noise cancelling with any kind of audio and a good range, I might spend more on it.

200$ would be my max.

If I would find a mic that could hear me clearly from any direction within 6 meters and had good noise-cancelation I would spend 200$ on it max.

Amulet remote will do this, but you need to lift it with your hand!

I don't know about 6 meters, but hopefully the Kinect will have some potential like this at 3 meters.  Ideal for me would be a star trek like badge that I could tap.

Kalle,

I assume you're from germany.  I live in Belgium and was wondering where you got yours ?
On the amulet site you can only see US stores.
