Set Volume fails to execute
« on: January 18, 2012, 10:00:45 PM »
Excellent program by the way, bought the full version yesterday.

I use VoxCommando to control iTunes.  Everything works fine except I can't get it to change the volume.

I say, for example: Set Volume 90.  The program brings up 'Set Volume 90 (95.1%)' followed by 'iTunes.SetVolume:' in the history but the volume does not change.

I am running iTunes 10.5.2.11 and VoxCommando 0.921 on Windows 7 Home Premium.  Both programs are Run as Administrator because I use them while playing SW:TOR which is always run as an administrator, and otherwise they wouldn't work.

yes.  thanks for letting me know.  I will fix this in version 0.938.

In the mean time it is pretty easy to fix it yourself.  I forgot to put the parameter in the action for itunes.setvolume

click edit to open the command editor tree.  open the group and select the command, then double click the command to edit the actions for it.

in the parameter box enter {1}.

see the attached image:

if you haven't done any customization to your commands you can just overwrite this file in your VC folder (see attached)
