edit: I am still having some problems with this, so it is not guaranteed but I'm working on a solution.
In the next version (0.887) I am bringing back *some* of this functionality. By placing appropriately named .png files in the .\resources folder we can override the OSD status overlay icons. The main icon in the taskbar and notification area will continue to use normal icons.
The OSD status overlay icon is turned on directly on the main VC menu under options by clicking "show overlay".
the file names must be:
icongreen.png
iconyellow.png
iconred.png
they must all be the same size (recommend 64x64 or smaller) since the overlay will set itself to the size of "icongreen.png" and remain that size until VC is restarted.
if you delete the files it will revert back to the standard icons which are 40x40 (when you restart VC)
