fade-in und fade-out der Lautstärke in MediaMonkey für TTS Ansagen

Hallo Leute,

mit folgendem Kommando, kann man die Musiklautstäke in MediaMonkey absenken und wieder automatisch erhöhen lassen, um die TTS Ansagen von VC besser verstehen zu können. (Musik fade-in/out).

cool.  I like it.   it is important to note though, that if you have the mediamonkey volume less than 50, the end result will be a volume increase.  Lets say you were listening to your MM music at level 20, it would end up raising it to 50.  I probably should create some kind of get-volume command so that you can decrease it and then increase it by only that amount.

unten MM.Play

Das hört , bzw. "Fühlt" sich an, als würde für die TTS Musik die Lautstärke gefadet.
Find ich auch eine recht elegante Lösung.

ja den MM.pause Befehl hatte ich vorher und das klang etwas abgehackt. War mal ein Versuch. Wenn James noch was besseres bastelt (get-volume), wäre schon super.

Hi James, can you tell me a little bit about TTS.SET-VOICE-NAME-command?

The set-voice-num-command is a realy great command to change the TTS-Voice.
I can change temporarily the english language to the german language with the "song info" command.
When Mediamonkey play songs by a german artist, i have phrases in german "künstler, Info" to change the english voice to a geman voice, and it tell me all about in german and change back to english. It's great!

Hi Skylive, hier das ganze nochmal in Deutsch, da es ja German-Support heisst ;-)

Also mit dem TTS.Set.VoiceNum Befehl lässt sich die Ausgabesprache temporär ändern, so das Deutsche Titel, oder was man sich auch immer ansagen lassen will, auch Deutsch gesprochen wird. "Herbert Grönemeyer" in Englisch hört sich wirklich bescheiden an.
Habe nun noch eine zusätzliche "Command-Group" erstellt mit der phrase "Künstler, Info" für Deutschsprachige Titel, würde aber gerne noch von James wissen für was der TTS.Set.VoiceName Befehl gut ist, oder vielleicht kannst Du es mir auch sagen.

PS: Für das ganze muss auch mehr als eine Stimme installiert sein und die besten sind von AT&T

Kalle, the command TTS.SetVoice.Name is equal to the TTS.SetVioiceNumber, for example we can use the voice Dave, for English, and the voice Felipe, for PT BR, go to options in the main panel voxcommando, and see the available voices in your system
then use this:
TTS.SetVoiceName in command, and parameters use the name voice Dave or the name voice that is available on your operating system,

The result is absolutely the same when using TTS.SetVoice Number

i understand, the tts.setvoice number is easyier to use in the command-builder.

I prefer to use TTS.SetVoiceName, I consider it easy, so if you have many options available voices.

that is true, but the name of my TTS voices are too long and too complicated to write them in a command ;-) --->  (ATT DTNV1.4 Reiner16)

Both commands are there so that you can make a choice.  However, there may be some advantages to using the voice name instead of the number.

The most obvious is that when you are editing your command tree, it is easier to know which voice is being used if you see the name.

The less obvious, but perhaps more important advantage of using the voice name, is that if you add or remove voices from your system, the numbers may change, and then you would have to go and edit the numbers in all your commands to make them use the correct voices again.  I am not sure how MS assigns numbers to the voices...

I am Not shure, but in my System sort MS by Letters begin with A.

There is a smooth pause option in MediaMonkey.

- Go to tools, options, player, output plug-ins
- click configure*
- check smooth pause

*It might only work if you use MediaMonkey direct sound output plugin.

It does a very quick fade, but still much better than instant change.
