The main question, or first question anyway is: does it have WiFi?
It looks like the answer is no, but the tech specs are missing onboth links so it's hard to know.

My excitement is hugely dampened by the poor wifi performance he has experienced.  I can't think of a solution short of using bluetooth tether to the phone and use the phones WIFI instead.  Perhaps my dreams are premature and the technology just isn't ready

From his article...

"WiFi performance is so poor that in essence, this device does not have WiFi.  I had to literally stand directly under a ceiling-mounted WiFi access point to load Google Play"

This was July 2012 though.  I wonder if there has been improvements or other manufacturers.
