VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Launch.Hidden Not Working?

I'm using Vox to trigger perl scripts in the background, but I can't seem to get it to stop flashing the command prompt window.  I am using Launch.Hidden and wperl.exe, both of which are designed to run in the background, but the command window still pops up briefly.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Can someone recommend a test to diagnose? I'm not sure if its an issue with the way Launch.Hidden runs, or if my call to perl is responsible...

Tips for better speech accuracy / Volume Threshold

Is it possible to set a minimum volume threshold for recognizing commands - either through vox or windows?

I notice that most false readings come from much quieter ambient noise (music, tv, etc) than when I am actually issuing voice commands.
