General Discussion / new notification for VoxCommando on Aeon MQ 2.6.1

Looks amazing. But I will need to stick with Ellipsis, due to performance issues. MQ2 is simply too sophisticated for my PC xD

Oh my... I found this plugin before, but I assumed, that this one is already included in Eventghost... My mistake. Will try this today. I'm really looking forward to be able to switch "Lucy" on and off with remote ;-). "She" understands all my commands properly, but refuses to recognize "Start listening" ;-)

Again, thanks.

Thanks James, I found your tool in EG forum by myself :-) It seems that my IR receiver is using MCE drivers, but EG is not working with it. So I was pushed to use software that came with remote. Thanks to your udpsender I managed to do what I wanted (almost). Remote software is minimizing XBMC while executing exe (there is no option to run exe silently, like in EG). I'm using now option in video section "use maximize rather than true fullscreen" but GUI is bit slower that way.
Thanks for help,

J.

Soft from remote manufacturer is useless, intelliremote is paid app, my budget for now is closed ;-) Can eventghost send commands over udp, like tellvox?

I found VC via XBMC forum. I was looking for Kinect control for my HTPC, found it, tested, after big disappointment found your post about VC.

Feature Requests / Vox activation with generic remote

I was trying to find this info in search, no luck. The feature is simple, I would like to be able to activate "VC.Standby" and "VC.On" with generic remote/MCE remote. Is there any way to send VC.On/Off/Standby command to VC from external program? I could then map specific button on remote to activate/deactivate VC states.
Did I miss this funcionality, was this already described?

Cool, it's starting to look as RTM version :-)
