Connecting with TeamViewer would be great even if it probably won't do much and I tried a new prefix "Alexa please do the following" and it was still experiencing the same shitty results

While my main speaker is a Jabra 410 I have VoxWav setup to use in other rooms and I am still figuring out how media monkey works so that's why those two commands are so strange also I tried the 4 steps you told me to do and it seemed to make no difference

While I work on all 4 steps you gave me here is the zip file you asked for and about the audio file while it might not be executing the command it was created during the time the command was run the only other thing I am using is an Echo Dot

Now that I have a proper wav and log file Hopefully this will be my last post at 12:32 while the room was silent Voxcommando recognized the speech turn on family net and I came back to my TV on a different channel than when I left my entire log is from when the room was silent and the wav file seems to be nearly silent as well

The only thing I can think of that would set it off iare computer fans  because other than that the room is silent and After countless hours trying to get VcAdvanced.SaveRecoWav to save my audio files I have almost given up
The only thing I can think of that would set it off is a computer fan

below is my complete log for the commands that are run in a silent room and VcAdvanced.SaveRecoWav

After further testing it seems to be going off without the prefix being used. I have an led that turns on when the prefix is triggered yet one of my commands to change the TV channel to OWN was triggered without the LED turning on my required prefix confidence is 55% and a link to my log is posted below

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Randomly issuing commands

I have Voxcommando set to prefix mode and at random times even when the room is silent Voxcommando will fire off a command using windows 10 with a Jabra 410 Microphone/Speaker

@Bray90820, typically for "play movie {1}" type commands we use payloadXML, not a dictation payload, as this provides a lot more control and reliability.

All the integrated media solutions that VC supports have a pre-made payloadXML generator. However, you can generate your payloadXML file(s) automatically even if you're not using one of these methods to play your media.

What is your "play movie" command actually doing?

I actually have sorta gotten it working with a work around by manually putting 4th in my script then having payload dictations to happen before and after the 4th but in any matter the play movie command is creating and running a bash script to connect to my plex server and play the movie I requested

9
So after some time playing with it I found out that it works with callout phrases I can correctly say the 4th of July and my action completes. this only seems to be a problem with Dictation which leads me to believe that it is something that can be fixed from within VoxCommando

10
If that is the case and Microsoft speech can't Handel it would changing 4th to fourth in the skill be the way to go because vc history shows Born on the 4th of july  and I did manually edit the file name to read born on the 4th of july

11
So just to understand correctly if the file is named 4th and alexa searches for 4th it will still fail? because right now that is what is happening

12
Well the name of the movie is "born on the 4th of July" not "born on the Fourth of July" so I am not entirely sure why it's not being recognized when I tell alexa to play movie "born on the 4th of July" alexa responds with "VoxCommando Does not understand play movie born on the 4th of july"

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Payload dictation with numbers
« on: June 30, 2017, 07:14:11 PM »
So I am having a slight issue using my Alexa with Vox. I am using a payload dictation to play movies if I say play movie click or play movie good burger everything works. If I say play movie "born on the 4th of July" it reads it as 4th and doesn't recognize the command but if I use VoxWave on my phone it recognizes the command. It seems to happen that way  every time there is something with 1st 2nd 3rd etc...

Integration Ideas / Vox Echo integration issue
« on: June 14, 2017, 10:47:04 PM »
Kida a noob here so I am still learning stuff but I am using Vox To send commands to my echo I have a command that runs a CMD process then reads and speaks a text file the only way I could get it to read the text file was if I disabled TTS.GetLastText and Results.SetVar in the EchotoVC event most of the time it works fine sometimes the command gets stuck and only tells me what was last spoken
