Hi everyone..i am a new user here. As per my knowledge it is actually possible to use it as a receiver too which would generate events in VC, however when we switch to this mode, we can no longer use the device to learn IR or RF due to a bug in the libraries for the nodeMCU.  We have also done very little testing in this mode.
