Bug Reports / Re: Hue- Edit lights error
« on: January 10, 2015, 03:15:00 PM »
1.  Not sure what you mean here.  I am using vc 2.1.3.3   Hue firmware is at 1.7.0.5
2.  I have 8 lights.  2 strips, 5 bulbs, and a bloom
3.  When i hit continue, it closes the error window and just takes me back to the plugin.

I cleared out the xml files as a test and recreated them no problem.

I tried a couple of versions of vc and same results.   The bloom was the last thing i added, maybe it is the cause. I'll test.

Honestly this is not a deal breaker for me, I stumbled on it the other night accidentally when i was playing around with scenes.

Bug Reports / Hue- Edit lights error
« on: January 10, 2015, 02:42:58 PM »
I get an unhandled exception when clicking the edit lights in the hue plugin.  edit groups and edit scenes work fine.
picture and copy of the error attached.   Not sure if a vc issue or a pc issue.

vc 2.1.3.3
windows 7 64bit
system updated
java version 7.67 if it matters

Wow.  Glad to see this.  I have been playing around with my logitech hub and vera the last few days.  I completely missed this.  Thank you for documenting.

What mics did you pick up?   I love my Beyerdynamics MPC 22.  I am not to fond of the Crown PZM-11.  It could be that it is a bad mic, but i have yet to find the sweet spot on sensitivity.  I am either low or high on settings.  Nothing in between.

I wonder if we will be able to tie H.A. and VC into this in some form.

"Open air" and "whole home" microphones / Re: Polycom ef2280 detailed setup

I haven't tried to feed the pc back yet.  Work has me to the point that I really do not want to touch a pc when i get home.  Hopefully in the next week or 2 the project will wrap up and I will find interest again.

Keep in mind that if you get the vera edge, i think you are stuck with ui7.

I have been playing around with open air mics for a few months now.   there are a lot of factors in using it that i have been learning over the course.  My open air project has slowed down because I am trying to figure out how I am going to tie my living room sound back into my xap800 for noise cancellation.  I figure that during the holidays I may come up with something.
Recently I have picked up a couple of used tablets off of swappa and have actually started using them more for the voice control.  Voxwav on android is a great tool. If you have old android devices just lying around, I would recommend starting with them in the vc side of things first.
Check out the open air mic sub forum. If you have any questions,  feel free to ask.

i found this

Most of the info i found has been on the homeseer forum.  Alternate your search with ap800 and xap800.
I will have to look at my laptop at home to see if i have more.

Current windows updates.
very different software setup as one is my home pc and the other is work.
I have admin access on both pc's
both using forefront a/v.  home pc has vox excluded from scans

I only used the xp machine as a test to see if i could recreate it.

I just fired up my backup of 2.1.0.8 and it works fine.

Let me know if you want to test anything.

I just did a fresh install on a completely different pc and I am getting the same thing. I used the basic config.  Both machines are windows 7 and pretty current on updates.

On the fresh install, i cleared out all the commands, saved, restarted. Then created a new command. same issue.

So I am thinking my xml may not be of help.  If you still need it, let me know.
