First I must say that I am very excited about the new version.

With the Kinect SDK, it also works brilliantly. Commands are well recognized by 80-90%.

With XBMC I have only one problem. Certain commands are not implemented in XBMC, although they are detected. (eg, move to the left, finishing xbmc etc.)

Start XBMC but is recognized for example. Where I make a mistake?

I use a german version of VC and XBMC.

Hi babesumitra. Welcome to the VC forum.

Are you using VoxCommando.exe or VoxCommandoSP.exe ?

Are you using the standard German configuration without any changes?

Is XBMC running on the same computer as VoxCommando?

I am looking at it now and there are a couple of errors in the German XBMC configuration.

I will make sure it is corrected in the next release, but for now I can send you a new voicecommands.xml
I will post it here soon.

Ok please try the following:

1) Close VoxCommando
2) Overwrite voicecommands.xml with the attached file
3) Start VoxCommando.
4) Under file choose: purge cache and restart again (this step might not be necessary)

If the command to close XBMC is not working then you have probably not installed the voxTools addon for XBMC correctly.

'm really fascinated by vc. use the sp version (otherwise kinect works correctly.) all on the same machine.

have the steps followed everything, but unfortunately does not work yet.

addon in xbmc was also installed.

should I re-install xbmc newly possibly?

as I said, the commands all be recognized. only the implementation is lacking.

(example: finish xbmc)

Which steps did you follow?

It is not clear to me what is working and what is not. Apparently some commands are understood by the recognition engine but I don't know if some are executing correctly and some are not, or if none of them are executing correctly.

The installation is relatively easy and it is well documented and the instructional video is quite thorough, but people find many ways to make mistakes. I cannot start guessing about what each person might have done wrong.

I suggest that you follow the installation video again and check for mistakes you might have made.

If you like you can post your VoxCommando log in case there is a clue to be found there. Also tell us if certain commands are working correctly.

Are you sure the connection to xbmc works?
You can take also a look in the VC history window when you execute a xbmc command in VC. If there is a problem you will see this marked in "orange" colour in the VC history.

i am testing again, updates in few minutes

Hello again.

I have now completely uninstalled XBMC and then reinstalled. VC also reinstalled on C :/ VC. Did plugin reinstalled.

Unfortunately problem does not solve itself. Some commands are recognized, others do not.

in order: (see picture)

Go to weather (is recognized and successfully executed)
Go to home (recognized and successfully executed)
Go to the movies (is recognized and unfortunately not successful)

Hallo nochmals.

Ich habe jetzt XBMC komplett deinstalliert und dann neu installiert. VC ebenfalls neu installiert auf C:/VC. Habe Plugin neu installiert.

Problem löst sich leider nicht. Einige Befehle werden erkannt, andere nicht.

in der Reihenfolge: (siehe auch Bild)

Gehe zu Wetter (wird erkannt und ausgeführt erfolgreich)
Gehe zur Startseite (wird erkannt und ausgeführt erfolgreich)
Gehe zur Filme (wird erkannt und leider nicht erfolgreich ausgeführt)

OK. Most of the keyboard emulation commands in this configuration are wrong. I don't know how this happened.

I willl upload a new version soon. All of the json actions should work fine but all the actions that use some kind of button or keyboard emulation are still using the Eden methods!

Kalle (or someone else), if you can please try to test this configuration with as many commands as possible. I tried to test it but I really can't pronounce the words well enough to test with voice commands which makes it slow going to test every command.

I made a small test. I must say that so far all the commands are recognized. Thank you.

Du kannst alternativ auch eine englische zweite VC Konfiguration für XBMC in einem neuen Ordner installieren und mal zum testen die englischen "phrasen" durch Deutsche ersetzen.

Beispiel: ersetze "go to movies" mit "gehe zu Filme"

Ok, I've found the issue and it is my fault

We have in the german XBMC config a command which is named "Activate Window & Browse" and this command contain a payload "XBMCactivateWindowDE-EN.xml". I have insert a wrong value (I don't know why?), so sorry for that.
Please open this payload in the command tree with a double click and press the "Open/Edit" button. Then search the line with the phrases "Filme, movies" (see pic.) and overwrite the the value "videolibrary,movietitles" with "video" and save the payload. This command open only the movie section in XBMC and not all your movie titles by coverflow or similar.
It is not possible to call the movie titles entry direct with this command, use insteed of them the command "Durchsuche Filme" and add another phrase like "zeige Filme".
I hope this make it clear.
There are also some other missing entries in this payload like weather, ... I will correct that later, maybe someone do the job for me
