Version 0.884
« on: April 04, 2011, 11:27:30 PM »
Next version.  I've worked a bit on the command builder, and the parameter helper.  You should get better feedback now on a commands function and parameters.  With Kalle's help there is now help for actions in German when you use the command selection tree.

I've redone the inputkeys commands.  It is much more powerful and flexible now.  You can do complex key combinations such as

Inputkeys.Send     {Control+Lwin}({Tab}{Tab})

which means press and hold Control and the left Windows key, then press tab twice, then release Control and left windows keys.

I still need to update the help on these actions.  If you click on the building blocks icon to the right of the action parameter you'll get a helper.  Go to the inputkeys tab and you'll see dropdowns with all the keys to help you build your combinations.

I have been reworking a number of commands to return more consistent results so that the "if last action success" works correctly for every command.  I think there are still some that need work.  Let me know if you notice any.

You can now right-click an action's gear to clone it.  You can click in an empty "then" or "else" block to create the first action.

I added a VC.StopMacro command.  It will completely exit the current command skipping any other actions, which may come in handy when building logic based command macros.

I think it's pretty stable, but I'd appreciate some feedback before I put it on the main download page.

Hi James,
i bow, the inputkey editor is amazing, have not tested it yet, because you have made a lot of work in it.
Super implementation for the help in German.
For the first, no problems with patch the old version, and also as new install   ;) perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations for this powerful update    :hugs

very sweet command builder - awesome!

Used it to build a couple of a couple of simple macros called Help and Close Help.

Going to post them over to the xml section shortly.  Working on a few other things, so will post back here if I find any bugs.

I updated the first post with version 0.884b.

the only difference is that one command in the MediaMonkey default configuration was changed.  Thanks Kalle for noticing that "what song is this?" was broken.

Most people don't need to update just for that...

I found a bug in the logic part of the command builder.  I am working on fixing it now.

If you put more than one action in "then" or "else" it only keeps the last action. :bonk  DOH!

I'll repost when it is fixed.  Just in case anyone was trying to use this feature and wondering why it wasn't working...

by uploading something higher than 720p I got HD, but it is still being rescaled so the quality is not as good as it should be.

Anyway, it is good enough.

very good and understandable Videotuturial, great example to use the logic function in VC   8)

james, how can I enter in the LCB a range?
For example, if rating less than 50 percent, then "it sucks" else "this is great"

it is not possible at the moment.  The main reason being that all payloads etc. are text, not numbers.  I will think about adding this though since of course it would be very useful.

baby steps... :)

@Kalle:

Just for fun, I thought of a couple of ways to do it without using A<B

the easier one is this:

(A)Contains(B)  (10-20-30-40-50)Contains({LastResult})

FUN! :yay

the other way was too confusing so I won't explain it... :P

James, I would like the logic of "if-not" use, if I check box selections happened and "save and execute" use exactly what I want. If I then leave the LCB (before all this even stored) stores that VC "check mark" not, in the LCB is deselected again.
I solved the problem otherwise, but it interests me.

that was just an idea I was experimenting with, and I wasn't very happy with the results so I stopped working on it.  I should have removed it from the menu before uploading.

OK, Here's a preview of a new feature for version 0.885.

I'm pretty excited about this one!

Please note that you need to be able to do free dictation for this.  Depending on your Accent and Microphone setup this may be a problem for some.  Also you need to have a TTS engine installed that can handle the output language.  Of course, you could also use this without actually using speech recognition.  For example you could get it to translate incoming skype text messages.

I don't know if it's sound interference or if he pronounces "fleas" strange. Instead of "flöhe" I hear "flöde"

"This software is blowing my mind" is translated free, since there is no real translation.
"Diese Software ist meiner Meinung nach wild" means "In my opinion this software is fierce".

So overall very nice :)

"In my opinion this software is fierce"   8)

pretty good, all things considered.  Of course the translation is only as good as what google will provide us with, and it will probably continue to improve over time.  The fact that you can translate to and from a very large number of languages is very nice.

I'm adding actions to work with the clipboard, so combined with keyboard emulation you can get VC to copy, translate, and replace selected text in any document or web form.  I have a big smile on my face today.

Your new video I've seen now, and wow I am speechless, very very cool. I thought that there is only in StarTrek a Universal Translator. Ok in google there's no Klingon language.
