Yes my MM library has 38k tracks and the History windows looks like your screenshot.

If your history window actually looks like the image that I posted then it worked and you can start issuing voice commands.

In any case I will still be available at our agreed upon time.

Thanks a million for the help James and sorry I was not prepared having a good mic for my pc because i never really talk into my pc for anything on a regular basis.

So I finished the speech recognition training then the pc started picking up my voice faster as I tried with different songs. It did not play the songs I had requested and then all of a sudden like it stopped working.

There are a few windows open, what exactly do I need to restart and have on screen whenever using VC please?

Also, is there a VC icon i can leave either on the desktop or system tray?

You just need VoxCommando and MediaMonkey running.

VC appears in the notification area when running.  You can click it to hide the VC Window completely, and click it again to bring it back.

I pinned it to the taskbar.

The program is not responding anymore, does it freeze and should simply be restarted whenever that happens?

I double click on "play song paradise" in the Emulate Speech box then see another small window open listing all tunes with the word paradise in it but it doesn't play anything in MM so this should not be voice related issues?

If VC actually freezes then you should use Task Manager to close it and restart it.

When I tested playing a song by name on your system this morning, it did work as far as I could tell.

I think you might need to be running MM (MediaMonkey) as administrator for it to work.  You can test simpler commands like "music pause" first to see if it's talking to MM correctly.

Your system did seem to be struggling a bit in general though.

Yeah, I restarted MM as Admin and restarted VC, works again and much better now thanks.

However I just ran into the same main issue as with Braina so this seems to be a universal issue maybe and not a VC issue.

With a folder running in MM, when I search for a tune and it starts playing, it will play every tune from the search over and over so the playlist or folder of music is stopped and doesn't continue, that is the main issue I was always facing.

To reiterate, I wish to have a folder of music or playlist running as normal. When I speak or type any tune in the library, I want to set that tune to either Play Now or play next after that tune is finished then the playlist continues as normal. If VC cannot do this then let me know so I won;t waste your time, thanks.

Yes this is possible.

You just need to edit the voice command that plays songs and set an optional parameter for the action LoadBySQL to PlayNext.

GREAT but whoa, that's some very technical stuff, for me. I will see if I can figure it out, thanks.

Cool, followed the instructions to the letter but when I speak or use the emulate option to 'play song paradise' or any tune, the windows appears and says 'playing song paradise' but the song does not play.

Either you have done something wrong when editing the command or you are not running MediaMonkey in administrator mode.

I don't know what else to tell you since it works fine for me.

No and No, I had double checked the instructions from the video.
