Other Plugins / Google Speech on Fresh Start

Maybe I am doing something wrong,

so if I start Google Speech by navigating to the Plugins>TCP>Google Speech>Launch GS everything works fine.

If I create in the LCB launch GS with TCP server start and "VC loaded" to trigger it, the Google Page opens, it is green like it is connected, it also listens and produces alternates and says it is sending unique strings but they do not appear in the history and Vox does not react to anything from Google Speech.

Is there any additional steps I am missing to get it to start when VC loads?

when setting up all test work from web server.
But when i press enable google speech on the google speech tab i get the message i have attach in this post.

Vera Home Automation Controller / humidity not being received

hello
humidity change  not being received by vox in history window.
if i  use in lcb vera.get  it will report it.
i get temp and others but not humidity in history window.
any ideas why would be great.

Hello

I am using  Skype to message vox with commands for reminders, I start my message with Rr and vox then knows it is a reminder. it then put it through the RegEx plug in to write reminders to a note pad I have got it to do this but I  would like it to number the lines it writes to notepad.

exsample

I text to vox:

Rr need milk
Rr phone mum
Rr jump rope

note pad then reads  at the moment

need milk
phone mum
jump rope

I would like it to read

1. need milk
2. phone mum
3. jump rope

I would like this so I could say to vox reminder/task 1 is completed and then it would delete that line and then renumber them. I use not pad so I can say show me my reminders and vox will open note pad or say tell me and she reads it.

if this can be done any help wold be cool.

Vera Home Automation Controller / wattage not seen in Vc

Hello
I'm using a aeon Labs Heavy Duty Switch

I use a work around to get it to work on my veralite http://www.vesternet.com/resources/application-notes/apnt-89
I'm using the easy way on that link.

I see the   the watts on vera ui but when I ask vc for status I get all the info but not the watts.

I would like to use the watts info to trigger events.

I hope you guys have some ideas how I can do this

Bug Reports / 2.127 .net version 4.5 window win 8.1 (solved)

I seem to have a problem where I keep getting a pop up window when I run Vox 2.127 system requirement window, it needs to be pressed ok and then it runs fine.
I tried to install .net 4.5 and it tells me I already have it so I done a bit of googling.

The deployment guide says that an application can test whether the .NET Framework 4.5 or later is installed by checking the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full folder in the registry for a DWORD value named Release. A value of 378758 means that the .NET Framework 4.5.1 is installed. This logic works correctly for the redistributable version of the .NET Framework 4.5.1. However, on Windows 8.1, the Release value is set to 378675 instead, so this logic doesn’t work on Windows 8.1.

I don't know what this means or if it even relates, I tried to understand it, any help would be appreciated.

EventGhost / endless loop and limitations to broadcasts

Hello
at the moment I have a timer in eventghost sending a event to vc every 4s. This tells vc to check the status of vertual switches on vera. From here vc would fire the ir to turn on/off based on the state of switch in vera.

I had a problem where only 3 of the 4 events was getting through so I put a delay of 4ms in between each bordcast
that fix it.

1st question is there a limit to simultaneous broadcast.
2nd question as I add more vertual switches could I slow down vc or vera if I'm constantly asking for updates on state on switches.

And is there a way to endless ask for status. I was thinking to make a self triggering  action with a delay but did not know if this is the best way to loop

What I am trying to do is if motion is detected in a given time then do nothing , if not the then do action.

Vera Home Automation Controller / trigger name keeps changing

I only got vera as I see it works in Vox, After trying to get my 4in1 multi-sensors work, which took a number of technical support phone calls. Turned out I needed to ask them to remove the flag that stops you from downgrading on their system that Auto updates the vera to ui7 and then I could downgrade to ui5 Seems they have a policy of Google not making their updates play nice, this took hours to Figure out.

What I'm trying to do is when Vera sends the status of the temperature of the room put that in a logic a<b 22 then send the ir code to the air con "only got usb urt because of vox You are a big influence on my purchases you need to get some sort of commission." Problem is it only triggers when the status is the same as the one I dragged and dropped across an attached to the Logic part

</command>I use a light sensor is easier to manipulate to test, I used osd instead of ir send for testing in the code above. "I was using bags of ice to try and cool the temperature sensor to get quicker results before.  " So when I get vera.Light.5.8 it works vera.Light.5.4 Does not.

I think I've got it right in the code above for Vox to use the payload from the light sensor report to work with in my logic

VoxWav Free and VoxWav Pro / multiple voxwav identifying user

Hello
i have voxwav pro and i was wondering if there is an option where voxcommando can identify the the handset voxwav is coming from.
for example if ipress the talk button voxcommando would use my speech settings and know it was me and if my wife was to use her hand set it would know it was her.
This way I would not have to give a voice command so it switches profiles.
