Bug Reports / windows 10 creators update
« on: July 23, 2017, 07:40:38 PM »
Hi there,
Now I cant be sure if this is an issue with my audio drivers or not but I thought I would put it here so you can look into it if need be.

I recently installed the new windows 10 creators update and all was well Vox working as it should ect, I rebooted the PC and noticed Vox could not use my mic but every other program could, Re-Installed Audio drivers fixes the issue until the next reboot.

In vox if I go to Options,Windows settings,Speech Recognition I get an error stating "windows 10 speech recognition could not initialise volume meter' The window then freezes and I get a "windows shell common dll has stopped working". I don't have any logs as I rolled back and all is working again but I just thought I would put it here to give you a heads up if Microsoft have broken something.

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Prefix Confidence
« on: April 15, 2017, 02:01:50 AM »
Hi there,
Small issue I have noticed is I have my Prefix confidence set to my sweet spot at 83%, Sometimes I have noticed ill give a command and it will register above 90% but will not fire (will normally work the second time)

I see the command in bold blue so I know it is hearing the correct prefix and command just not sure on why it ignores me -10% of the time.

Cheers for any tips

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Better way?
« on: February 28, 2017, 05:02:32 AM »
Hi there,
Has anyone got a better way of doing the following? I want to be alerted when a download has finished so I have it set that the window will close when download is finished, I then use the "unfocused" event to send a msg to Eventghost which sends a Autoremote msg to my phone.

(Hope that made sense) The main issue I have is If I have to have that window in focus a few times it will send the command multiple times. I have had a read of these forums and the Wiki but have not found a solution.

Thanks in advance

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Wemo Motion
« on: January 29, 2017, 07:14:58 PM »
Hey guys/girls,

Just wanting to pick your brains again, I use a Wemo motion in the kitchen to turn the lights on and off as I walk in and out, I am currently using Tasker to catch the on and off intents but it has its moments when it does not want to listen.
I have just noticed That the  Wemo plugin is seeing the motion as actions and am wanting to try Vox to catch the intents, The only issue I have is with Tasker I have it set to "Turn lights on with motion" then "Turn off in 5 mins with no motion" so when no motion a 5 min timer starts but resets back to 5 if it detects motion. Can I do this in VOX?

Feature Requests / TTS with Must Confirm
« on: November 22, 2016, 03:18:01 AM »
Hey there, Is there anyway to add TTS with must confirm? What I would like is an option along side OSD for TTS So I could have Must confirm commands with the screen off. Example. ME "Turn the aircon on" TTS "Are you sure" me "yes please".

Is this possible at all?

Thanks heaps for all the work you have done with this program, my house could not function without it :)

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Prefix and confirm command
« on: October 21, 2016, 07:28:00 PM »
Hey guys, just purchased vox and it is great. Just a quick question. I use prefix mode, is there a way not to use the prefix on a confirm command?

Example "computer turn TV off" and then just say yes or no, not "computer yes"

I have searched and can't seem to figure this one out.
Cheers
