General Discussion / Re: Ducking

Hallo Allerseits,

MFG Chris

p.s Ansonsten funktioniert alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Message in the Historie
« on: May 15, 2016, 12:00:37 AM »
Hello Community,

I need a information for troubleshooting. I try to trigger an event via TellVoxcommando. It appears in the Historie, but I can't Drag'n Drop it as Event - error message is 'invalid XML' and the tooltip says 'Error: Unknow Base Action'.
What does it mean?

Thanks in advanced

Chris

Are you using a Kinect microphone with AEC enabled in VC options?

If yes please disable AEC and let us know if the problem is fixed.

Thanks for your fast response.

I've disabled AEC and the problem is fixed.

Hello community.

I've got a little trouble with my soundoutput. I'm using a Pioneer AV-Reciever as standart audio output via HDMI.
It is the standart outputdevice. Normally there is no problem with Voxcommando or any other application.
If I switch in Kodi (aka XBMC) to passthrough output, no other sounds from windows or other application can be now played at this device. If I switch passthrough off, windows sounds can be played.
Except Voxcommando. After I switched passthrough on the following message appears in the logfiles
If I switch passthrough off again, this error continues.

Quote
Beim Erkennungsvorgang ist ein interner Fehler aufgetreten.
12.11.2015 00:55:45   558     Input error, COMException: Beim Erkennungsvorgang ist ein interner Fehler aufgetreten.
12.11.2015 00:55:45   558   regog finished wav (or stream) ended
12.11.2015 00:55:45   608   Kinect using existing stream
12.11.2015 00:55:45   608   Using Kinect audio stream as input
12.11.2015 00:55:45   627   [error] Input error: COMException

This message repeats permanently very short periodically. Voxcommando is running, but reacts very slowly.
The only way is to restart voxcommando.
My question:
Is there a way to trigger this error as event, so I can restart voscommando by his own via VC.RestartFull?
Or is there an other solution possible?

Thanks for your help

kind regards fishware

Feature Requests / Re: More Small confirmation message
« on: November 08, 2015, 06:17:40 PM »
Sorry, I meant to use an asterisk in my event name.  It will play the sound for every confirmation, and no, there is no infinite loop caused by this.  I have updated my xml above.

Vielen Dank. Funktioniert einwandfrei  :hugs

Confirm.i need confirmation

Thats the way I do it. But for every command, that needs confirmation, it is necessary to link every confirmation in the command like

Code: [Select]
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<!--VoxCommando 2.2.0.7-->
<command id="1082" name="confim.*" enabled="true" alwaysOn="False" confirm="False" requiredConfidence="0" loop="False" loopDelay="0" loopMax="0" description="">
  <action>
    <cmdType>TTS.Speak</cmdType>
    <params>
      <param>{LastSpoken}, are you sure?</param>
    </params>
    <cmdRepeat>0</cmdRepeat>
  </action>
  <action>
    <cmdType>TTS.Speak</cmdType>
    <params>
      <param>{LastSpoken}, bitte bestätigen</param>
    </params>
    <cmdRepeat>1</cmdRepeat>
  </action>
  <event>confirm.Leinwand runter</event>
  <event>confirm.Leinwand hoch</event>
  <event>confirm.Schlafenszeit</event>
  <event>confirm.and so on</event>
</command>
In my case I want for every confirmation, an accoustic hint.

If I use Confirm.* than an infinite loop will happen. So I thought, it would be nice to announce a confirmation the same way we can do it, for the visual one over the optionmenu.
I suggest this a little bit as a featurerequest.....;)

Nice feature! Thanks for that.
I take Kalles example,
Hi albertpujol, you can find the events in the history window (each event has a calendar icon). You can drag and drop the event directly from the history window in your command tree.
I've attached also a command group to set the volume in xbmc. This show you how the confirm event works.
and put in, every confirm.event I have. Is it possible to set/program a acustic confirmation in the optionsmenu, like visual confirmation?

see attachment for a look into the future...... ;)

Have a nice day

Other Plugins / Re: TCP Plugin
« on: November 02, 2015, 08:38:45 AM »
To give you a start point with the TCPwebserver, test following:

Start the webserver in the TCP plugin then type in a webbrowser: localhostIP/api/OSD.showText&hello

if everthing works VC show you a OSD window with "hello"
Hello Kalle

Is it possible that the "adress" must be
Quote
localhostIP/api/OSD.showText&&hello
Than the event is happend
I'm using VC 2.2.0.7

What is a good microphone for speech recognition? / Re: Kinect 360
« on: November 01, 2015, 08:02:12 AM »
Hello lovely community.

Thanks to Kalle  :hugs I've got my own Kinect to play around. Its a amazing piece of senorphalancs. ;)
Now I have a "liitle" question.
In the VC main window is that little nice level indicator. Is it possible to read the value from this indicator may be permanently? I want to try out, to look for the last 5 seconds or so (this is one challenge) to the level, and if its raise or fall over/under a threshhold to adjust the mic inputlevel.
On other hand I can imagine, that when a very high level is reached -sometimes I hear loud music ;) -, to switch to gesture input via kinect and trigger that way the VC-XBMC ducking procedure. This also could be nice to pause an very loud Äktschnmovie.

with greetings, fishware

You can set the beam angle using the setting "manual angle".  Maybe I don't understand your question.

If you mean, can we set the beam angle with an action, no it is not possible.

Yes, this was my intention. Thanks for the rapid answer

Thanks in advanced

Hello everyone.

I'm a liitle bit confused about the Kinect Sensor. If I looked at ebay I found different Sensors.
The productfotos makes not better.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Kinect-Sensor-original-Microsoft-fur-Xbox-360-TOP-/400829392954?hash=item5d534b283a:g:Kh0AAOSwQiRUlsKE
vs.

vs.

vs.

May be its differ only the color, but I can't see this clear. The next thing is, that most of them are provided for X-Box. I also read, that a adapter and/or a powerplug is necessary. Is this correct?

Is there an unique productcode, or other characteristics to identify the correct one?

Thanks in advanced, fishware

ps. Is anyone out there, how sell a device, or can give me a good hint where I can buy it . Second hand would be my favor.
