How to import the kodi commands without reinstalling VC
« on: April 08, 2020, 03:22:53 AM »
I have installed the plugin and setup kodi, but I didnt select the kodi config at vc install time. Where can I find and copy the xml kodi commands for 18 into vc?
---
It won't let me delete this but the xml's are under support plugins on the forum:

---
I reinstate my question, the commands on the forum are not the same as on the youtube demos. Please them unless reinstalling kodi is required to access necessary kodi actions.

There are different ways to copy commands from a other config.

1. You can Install a second instance of VC with the Kodi config. Create a shortcut on your desktop and open the properties of the shortcut - then append to the target file  -new  (\VoxCommando.exe -new)
this allows you to start a second instance of VC with a different config.
Now you can start both VC versions - open in both the Command tree and copy and paste the needed commands.

2. You will find also a voicecommands.xml for Kodi in your VC main folder in resources/configs/English. Unzip the needed config file and now you can open the voicecommands.xml from the unziped file as a second Window in your Commandtree Editor.

There is a pretty thorough explanation of the process in the following video:

I think it is worth watching.
