EULA On Start Up
« on: May 20, 2014, 10:11:49 PM »
Just turned computer on and launched VC. Instead of VC launching to my custom configuration I get the pop up below. Running VC 1.1.9.1 on Windows 8.1. I noticed also it does not give me an option to select a preconfigured set up.

Probably an admin / UAC / permissions / bad folder location type situation.

Basically it isn't seeing any of your files.  Either the files are not there, or windows 8 is hiding them.

Luckily I have the files backed up. So just to a fresh install of VC and reload the files?

Something changed on your system.  Only you can can possible know what that might have been.  VC certainly didn't change itself.  Windows may have updated itself, or you installed some new antivirus software, or changed your security or login credentials etc.  There is not much point in us making wild guesses.

Sure, give it a shot.  If it were me, I'd would want to know what had changed on my system, but if unzipping VC into a new folder works, then great.

Wasn't asking for a guessing game. Was simply asking if re-installing VC and importing my back up files would work ok? Nothing at all has changed. No new software, virus protection, no new downloads, no hardware changes, etc. Sorry for the miscommunication. I should have been more clear I suppose.
