In VoxWav is a option to setup the tilt angle, this allow me to make the tilt sensor not so sensitive, I think this option is explained in the new video from James with VoxWav 2.61.
I use the standard android keyboard.

How about you put a timer on the tilt angle so that when its held in the sweet spot for x amount of time it will turn on the mic.

I guess it's a possibility, but one of the nice things about VoxWav is not having to wait to begin speaking.

It looks like everything works really well already in Kalle's video.
The "buzz" on activate/deactivate made me happy - should be very useful.

Kalle: have you tried Minuum, Fleksy or SwiftKey/Swype? They seem to be the most interesting keyboards IMO.

You haven't received yours yet either, James? Which one did you pledge for, if you don't mind me asking? =)
I read that watches were being sent out without the SD cards being pre-installed by Omate. I'm a bit worried about that seeing as removing the back plate to install it voids the warranty.

This is the watch we are waiting for:

Quote
The reward you pledged (Total Pledged $214)
-TrueSmart November Standard Edition: ONE ($199)
-International Shipping Fee ($15)

Model of 3G Band you chosen:
-1900Mhz (USA & Most of North/South America)
(Note: The TrueSmart is Quad Band for 2G and works worldwide. However for 3G, there is one band, you have the choice of 1900Mhz or 2100Mhz)

Removing the back plate voids the waterproofing warranty only.  But yes it sucks.

I am afraid that there are quite a number of other potential problems with this watch from what I have seen on Facebook and Google+ but I am trying to remain patient and optimistic so that I can judge for myself when (if) it arrives.  :)

Hey krismyklebust, I've bought the AW414.go here in germany which costs 200 Euro. It has the same hardware as the Omate TS, but only the first firmware "oui 1.0". I've use it out of the box without any custom ROM. The standard keyboard works very well for what I'm using it for (I use the keyboard not really often).

Cool! :)
I bought the extreme edition and a 32GB SD card - Maybe I got a little bit too excited xD

You're quite right, it only voids the waterproofing warranty, but it is a bit annoying since they said they'd install the cards for us :)
I've heard about a lot of problems too (some people are lucky, others not so much.. seems to be "hit and miss"?), but the main reason for peoples annoyance seem to be all the delays.
I've decided to just bite my tongue and be patient. :)

OK Kalle. Makes sense to not use the keyboard a lot - it's a tiny screen after all ;)

I'm looking forward to using Spotify (if it is maneuverable) for music when I run, RunKeeper etc, but the main reason would have to be VoxCommando ;)

Hey Kristoffer, the reason why I don't use any custom rom or special software on my watch is: The most people which install this special software run from one fault to the next (I've read the whole posts on FB and G+). So I can say my watch run from out of the box and does what she should do.
I hope Spotify do not drain the battery a lot, because you run also WiFi and BT (I think two or three hours)  ;)

Just remember that you are only supposed to wear it on your wrist, or you will void the warranty.  :biglaugh
