In answer to my own question, I originally re-installed VC over it'self on my D: drive, a clean install on my E: drive has solved this issue.

2
I've recently re-installed windows 7 & thus re-installed VC.

I've restored my VC back up but am finding anything to do with windows navigation (page up, page down, scroll down, minimise, maximise window etc) is not working & I get the error message in the history windows "can't find command: The given key was not present in the dictionary."

I'm also getting this error?
"unexpected error:
System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.
   at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key)
   at eval_g.eval_ᜀ(String A_0, Int32 A_1)
   at eval_g.eval_ᜀ(String A_0,"

Any advice as to what I have done wrong?

General Discussion / Re: Launching shortcuts from the {Path.VC} Questions
« on: January 09, 2016, 01:04:40 AM »
Using a bunch of the above this is what I do for my desktop shortcuts.
My shortcuts are located in the default win 7 directory.

So this will update your desktop icons, create & fill the required payload & then open whichever shortcut you want.

Code: [Select]
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<!--VoxCommando 2.2.1.2-->
<commandGroup open="True" name="Desktop" enabled="True" prefix="" priority="0" requiredProcess="" description="">
  <command id="537" name="Desktop Update" enabled="true" alwaysOn="False" confirm="False" requiredConfidence="0" loop="False" loopDelay="0" loopMax="0" description="In this example, I scan my mp3 directory's folders/subfolders. Be careful of which directory you choose here!">
    <action>
      <cmdType>PayloadXML.Clear</cmdType>
      <params>
        <param>payloads\desktop.xml</param>
      </params>
      <cmdRepeat>1</cmdRepeat>
    </action>
    <action>
      <cmdType>Launch.Capture</cmdType>
      <params>
        <param>C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe</param>
        <param>/C dir "C:\Users\Media\Desktop\"  /b /s</param>
        <param>True</param>

    <action>
      <cmdType>Results.RegEx</cmdType>
      <params>
        <param>(.+\\(.+)\.)</param>
      </params>
      <cmdRepeat>1</cmdRepeat>

    <action>
      <cmdType>Results.MatchToXML</cmdType>
      <params>
        <param>payloads\desktop.xml</param>
        <param />
        <param>True</param>
      </params>
      <cmdRepeat>1</cmdRepeat>
    </action>
    <phrase>update desktop, desktop update</phrase>
    <phrase optional="true">icons</phrase>

Integration Ideas / Re: Perform "Ok Google" search?
« on: January 08, 2016, 11:17:09 PM »
Good idea, never really used google voice search but it does work well.

Couple of questions, is there a way to get VC to pause until google has loaded, problem is sometimes this is one second, some times 10 seconds. I can't put in the left click until the microphone icon is visible?www.google.co.uk

The other question is my mouse co-ordinates don't always go to where they should, but sometimes they do. Maybe a topic for another topic but thought I'd mention.

Actually there is a hotkey of Ctrl + Shift + . (period) that will start voice search when your on the google page. Only problem is I don't know how we send . (period) into VC but it's a better option as web pages change design & the mic icon will no doubt be put somewhere else at some point.

Didn't want one anyway!!!

I have an audio track which starts & the VC does some TTS stuff.

The audio track is longer than the TTS phrase & because the TTS length differs depending on the payload read out the audio can't be set to a specific time.

Is there a way to stop the audio when the TTS finishes, & also doing a fade out. I can use set.volume to do the fade & then set.volume to bring back to whatever level it was last at, which may be a bit awkward.

Feature Requests / Feature Suggestions
« on: January 08, 2016, 09:05:46 PM »
Adore this program. Few suggestions that would make my life a tad easier.

1. System tray icon. With all the gunk I have in my sys tray it's hard to figure out which is VC. Where as the utorrent icon is beautifully easy to spot.

2. In the voxcommands window could a file save be added. This would be easier to sort out a Save VC command which at the moment I have implemented using mouse control but it's a bit hit & miss.

3. Alphabetical order. Is it possible to arrange trees, sub directories & commands in alphabetical order?

4. Cloud backup & sync with 2nd PC. Yeah okay I'm pushing it!!!

Just to say after reading this thread yesterday I googled, amazon'd & ebayed but couldn't find this mic anywhere & the companies home page doesn't want to work.

Something like this would be very useful for when music or video is playing but instead I have bought an HP RF Media remote which as well as being useful for programming my harmony one I'll tie it into a one button press to mute volume & resume VC.

Wasn't sure what / how to add anything on the VoxCommando Microphone Matrix so have posted here.

Blue Snowball USB Mic £34.99 on Amazon UK

I bought this mic around a year back, don't usually listen to myself on it. When I did record myself the sound quality was deep & hiss free. Sounded good to me.

This mic is on a 5 meter usb extension & generally sits around 2 to 3 feet away.
I find recognition to be fantastic.

Looking at the front of the mic I presume it is directional, (I know nothing re mics). I have it on my side table putting across my room, approx 6 meters.

The mic picks up when I enter the room which is approx 12 meters away.

Recognition wise the mic (& Vox  ;D) pick up on mumbles ie, page down & more pronounced speech ie PAGE DOWN.

Of course as the mic picks up so well it does also pick up a lot of mucis & video speech & VC does stuff!
Of course this is down to me building commands to stop this.

My two penneth worth  8)

Thanks nime5ter, yes will go back & re-watch the videos.

Absolutely brillo PegLeg, I thought it would be a lot more complicated than a TTS command followed by a {1}
Thanks for that :-)
