ffmpeg rtp stream used as mic input

Hi all,

Is it possible to use an ffmpeg audio stream (e.g. rtp) as mic input to voxcommando somehow?

I don't really know but if it is it will probably involve using something like a VAC (Virtual Audio Cable)

VoxCommando can only listen to what it thinks is a normal Windows audio input, or to VoxWav via the TcpMic plugin. So you need to use a VAC to capture the output from the ffmpeg stream and send it to a virtual input device which VoxCommando is listening to.

There are a few software packages that do this but I think this one is free for a single cable: http://www.dxzone.com/cgi-bin/dir/jump2.cgi?ID=30470
