VC continue to hear in OFF mode
« on: January 04, 2015, 02:42:17 AM »
Now I am using 2.133 ... but I noticed this in many versions ...

when I put VC in off mode from the main window button (red square with mic) VC window changes color to red ... but VC continue to hear the mic ...

I am attaching a screen shot (not sure how else to report it)
it shows in the history tht I turned VC off ... yet VC heard something after ...
When Voice command gets tough, use hand gestures

We can't recreate this. I notice that the command does not execute.

Does this happen only once or does it continue to recognise commands?

What is your mic setup?

Can you post a full log?

If it only happens once (and the command is not executed) and then behaves as if it is off,  then VoxCommando is behaving as intended. Sometimes the ms sr engine will refuse to turn off when asked. VoxCommando is attempting to deal with this scenario gracefully.

I will pay more attention next time it happens to answer your questions and I will post a full log ....
For the moment I can only answer the mic setup ... It is boundry mic connected to XAP800 connected to VC through mic input ... I remember seeing this when I was using kinect as mic rather than audio stream (before kinect support was added)
Most of the time I use SAPI and not MS Platform

I had doubts that it is SAPI and not VC behind this ...
