VoxWav Free and VoxWav Pro / Re: VoxWav Error
« on: January 21, 2015, 03:54:57 AM »
It happened today as well when I got out of bed.

I when in search for my mobile phone to take a Picture as a mental note since i'm like a zombie at 05:45 in the morning.

During this time, my beloved GF <3 hit the "OK" button. And thus removing the error message. So I will try to be quicker next time it happens and I will post an update when I have the error message.

Hi.

I have mounted a android tablet on the wall running 24/7 with the mic always on.

About 2 times every day I get an error and the VoxWav app has to be restarted. I am not doing anything special when the error occurs. Mostly I just notice that the app stopped responding to commands. So I switch on the screen and that’s when I see the error message.  I have not figured out why this happens. And need some help figuring it out. The tablet is brand new and its basically VoxWav, Plex, skype and Yamaha network receiver app running on it, and nothing more.

Can I enable logging of the app? So I could send the crashLog to you or something?

Feature Requests / VoxWav - Microphone switch ON/OFF with screen
« on: January 15, 2015, 06:53:36 AM »
Hi!

I would like some option/setting in VoxWav to toggle its mic ON/OFF when the phone or tablet screen is toggled ON/OFF aka. sleep ON/OFF.

Is this possible?

Best Regards TN42

okey, that explains why the "keep alive when screen is off"  did not work for me. (the tablet is permanently mounted on the wall)

But still I think it should be such an option that the mic is off when the device screen is off. And when the screen is switched on, VoxWav switches on the mic allso.

Pleas add this feature  :) It would be really appreciated.

Just a quick addition to my first question. I have noticed the setting "Keep alive when screen off"

I have tried to set this setting to both ON and OFF but it dose not seam to make any difference.

Hi!

I have VoxWav Pro, I have set it to always listen.

Now I want VoxWav to only listen while the tablet is on. If the tablet enters sleep mode VoxWav should stop listening.

Is this possible? If not maybe this would be something that should be in the settings? It should not be that hard to implement?

RegEx (Regular Expressions) / Re: Results.RegEx: unexpected error
« on: January 05, 2015, 06:20:35 PM »
May I ask why you are using hyper-V?  Is this so you can run Windows 7 on a Windows server machine?

Yes and no. It's for security.

One thing I should have mentioned earlier is that it's often helpful to roll over the the error line when it appears in the history panel, as per the attached example.

The same information appears in VC's log file if you have logging enabled.

Ow, that I did not know. Next time I get an error I will try it  :)  Thanx.

Im running Remotedesktop over LAN, and yes I can use copy-past. but over hyper-V gen 1 copy-past is not possible.

I need to reinstall windows using Gen2 in order to get copy-past to work  :P

its kind of complicated  :P

Hehe, yha I know, the probleme is that I need to connect to a remote computer, that is running a hyper-v client with VC on, that dose not have a browser.

And I can not copy text from a Hyper-V client over remote desktop  :P

Thats why Its a bit tricky to copy to and from VC in my case  ::dis

okey, I can not explaine this.

But when I now ran the command (without modifying it) it worked like a charm? a WTF moment.

I would have posted the XML file but Its a bit tricky to get it out of the computer since it is not running on my local computer.

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Re: Multiple confirmation commands
« on: December 05, 2014, 06:37:09 AM »
Great! Thanx Kalle. I will import it to VC when I get home, and try it out.

Maybe this is something that should be put in to the feature request list. (a simple way to handle follow up questions and follow up command structures with multiple responses)?

Keep me posted if you hear anything from James.

Thanx Kalle.

I was watching your video on "voxcommando human touch" - trying to get ideas on how to set up the command structure for my goodnight sequence.

I have been sitting with this problem for two days now, and I have so far not been able to solve it. The main problem is
that I need to create some type of "smart" follow up question command setup. And thats a bit to advanced for me.

If you succeed In creating the command sequence , it might be a good idea to post it in another section of the forum aswell, for others to find. I dont think that im the only user of VC that wanna do things like this?

Vielen dank Kalle for the help with this!  :)
