Thanks nime5ter,

looks like you have been working very hard on this, would love to include it in my VC but I am migrating over to HS3 at the moment, And don't think there is  a TenHsServer version for HS3

No disrespect to you james, I did have a quick look at it and it seemed complex, perhaps not for a man of your talents.

Perhaps its not, when I get to that stage I will see which one I can master  :)

Hi guys,

I run an home automation program call http://board.homeseer.com/index.php would be nice to link into that, whilst they do do voice activation, it would be nice to use VC if that's what I was using at the time, would save switching from program to program

Thanks

VoxWav Free and VoxWav Pro / Re: Voice feedback to pad
« on: February 15, 2014, 11:23:38 AM »
Hi James,

No it was in getting the voice feedback, but seem better now, probably a network thing

I a few more question if that ok.

  • Can't seem to find the vibration function for the tilt on and off mention in the video
  • Is the TTS voice from the system its being played on, i.e. the voice on my pad is the voice that is installed on the pad, she seem a bit robotic  :)
  • presume to get voice feedback for each command, I would need to add a TTS voice event for each command

Hi Guys,

Just got VW Pro so I could try out voice feedback, but I don't seem to be getting anything on my Android 4.2.2 pad, not sure if I have it setup right, is there any documentation that would help me set it up, checked the Wiki but didn't help.

Ok managed to get voice feedback by adding a TTS Speak event to one of my commands, but there is a delay of around 5 second or more , is this normal? Could still with help to make sure I am doing thing right

Thanks

Hi Guys

Well following the video and trying to install the Vox tools in xbmc I am getting the dependencies not met so it will not install, This is on xbmc gotham latest release,
I know there is no support for Gotham yet, is there a chance this will get fixed any time soon, and what are the implication of not having the tools installed in xbmc i.e. what does the tools do?

Thanks

Thanks,

That was the video I check out in the first place, but in my quest for knowledge was checking out the other videos and they didn't seem to mention the same steps, just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing, Being as that video is a year old

My install of VC is on a media server running win 7, but my xbmc is on a HTPC machine again running win 7.

After re-reading James post I can see he said not on a remote machine  :-[  Perhaps there is another method

Hi James,

been watching some videos of yours and others, and in your xbmc frodo video you mention installing a VC repository etc. can I presume this is still need, It's just when watching other videos this repository doesn't get mentioned.
also because my xbmc is installed in portable mode on a remote HTPC it is not installed the the default location, to get my xbmc to shut down and launch am I going to have to edit the path in the command below,

Hi guys,

just a few question, I would like to install VoxCommando on my home server that is always on, but I would like to control my portable install of XBMC that is on a remote HTPC which is only on when needed, is this going to be possible?
Also I would like to link my portable XBMC install to a start command, The other day when I tried Vox and asked it to start XBMC it loaded a completely different install of XBMC, could this be because the XBMC install I want to use is not installed in the usual place?

Great program

Thanks
