XBMC / Skin Aeon MQ 4 for XBMC Eden or Frodo + New set commands

Hello Friends,

In the last 6 months, I help MarcosQui to developer new skin aeon mq 4, in alpha stage, the skin still under development.  At this moment there’s no direct link to download the skin, only VIP users, donators and translators, are receiving the alpha version.  When the skin reaches the final stage of development it will be available to everyone.

Clayton is a friend, member forum www.htforum.com/vb, he developers new commands for use with this specific skin, if you have access, here initial group of commands, available for download here,

Commands available:

- Change Color in main bar
- Change Color Titles
- Change Styles and Themes (Themes need extrapack for work) available via item in bottom menu skin.
- Change RSS bar Position
- Play Trailer in collection, only neet focus movie, and send the comand, very cool
- Change fullscreen x windowed mode in XBMC
- Access top menu
- Show Recents, Randon and In Progress

Somente  para Windows mesmo, e precisa ser o vista ou o seven, com suporte a múltiplos idiomas (professional ou ultimate), já que PT-BR, não oferece reconhecimento de voz nativamente.

Hello lcorazza, Windows 7 Home Premium, don´t have support for multiple languages, read the GatoGuga Blog, there are one solution for you there, in your native language, and welcome to VoxCommando Forum:

Well, i have LG smart tv 32 LW5700-SA, The network connection works very well, this very easy put apps in my model, I  use my android tablet to control it as a remote. LG and Samsung have app for download in market, free app, works fine here.
I have a little trouble to pairs tablet with tv, but read forums, discover how work.
I don´t test using voice to control, for now.

This file is not present in payload folder (new install), but there are one command default XBMC for change views, using skin aeon, use this file.
Click em edit, receive message: Missing FILE aeon viewmodes.xml. Simply include the file in payload folder or post the file for download.

And change XBMC New Misc - find artist command - XBMCArtists.xml. patch indicated is the root directory, for correct patch XBMCpayloads folder.. only 2 situation need fix.

I Create a new folder, install new version, select XBMC english, run fine, thanks.

Please only attach payload aeon view modes.xml...
this file is not present in payload folder (new install), but there are one command default for change view using skin aeon, use this file.

Hello Shanibh, welcome to voxcommando forum, if you use XBMC HD version, try rename file advancedsettings.xml for advancedsettings2.xml, in this place,
C:\Program Files\XBMC\system..
Restart XBMC, and try run xbmc again, I hope this solve your troubles.

Voxcommando is a excelente tool for control xbmc, too.

Hello James,

Montelesse Add support for WebSockets in XBMC, Websoctkets are accessible using the port of the TCP server (by default 9090) and using version 8 (draft) or 13 (final) of the websocket specification. So the URL to access the websocket would be e.g.
 
ws://localhost:9090/jsonrpc
 For now websockets are only available for JSON-RPC and support the same features as the TCP Server (i.e. notifications but no file download).

And here comes the first (rather big) update for JSON-RPC API v5:

 •added System.EjectOpticalDrive and a new permission ControlSystem
 •added GUI namespace with the methods ShowNotification, SetFullscreen and GetProperties (current properties are "currentwindow", "currentcontrol", "fullscreen" and "skin")
 •added AudioLibrary.GetRecentlyPlayedAlbums and AudioLibrary.GetRecentlyPlayedSongs
 •added properties "size", "lastmodified" and "mimetype" to Files.GetDirectory
 •added properties "season" and "watchedepisodes" to VideoLibrary.GetTvShows and "watchedepisodes" to VideoLibrary.GetSeasons
 •added notification Application.OnVolumeChanged
 •extended Application.SetVolume to support "increment" and "decrement"
 •added optional "play" parameter to Player.PlayPause
 •added optional "enable" parameter to Player.SetSubtitle
 •added optional "directory" parameter to (Audio|Video)Library.Scan
 •added optional "options" parameter to Player.Open which can have the properties "shuffled", "repeat" and "resume"
 •improved properties returned by Player.GetItem for non-library media being played
 •added sort methods "country", "dateadded", "listeners" and "bitrate
