Windows 8 / 10 / How to send the 'windows key' with Sendkeys
« on: January 27, 2015, 08:08:45 PM »
I want to accomplish this:

windows key and the P key together. This will bring up the projector charm.

My idea is this:   "OnScreen"....sends keystroke combinations:  win P, down, down, down, enter.
I have miracast on my tv and this would be my next small project.

THANKS

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / sending commands to VoxCommando
« on: January 20, 2015, 05:02:26 PM »
Just thinking out of the box a little.

Can I send a text file or other format to VoxCommando and have it use the file as if I had said the command verbally?

text file containing...."Stand by"....phrase, then VC command VC.Standby to be initialized?

or is there a command line tool for VoxCommando?

Command Builder Reference / Re: Question on going into subcommands...
« on: January 20, 2015, 04:54:40 PM »
Thanks!  I think the variable would work best. Basically set a variable when I say TV guide to TV....then use that variable until I say TV exit:

TV guide...set variable to TV
select...checks the variable, if TV, then TV select
TV exit....set variable to null.

Makes sense.

Thanks again

Command Builder Reference / Question on going into subcommands...
« on: January 20, 2015, 12:49:38 PM »
I was wondering if there is a way to do this:

I say, "TV guide"...the tv guide displays on the tv.

But I want to keep everything under "TV".  So, then I can say, "record", "info", "select"...etc...without having to say, "TV record".."TV info"...etc.

This should keep the subcommands available until I say, "TV exit"...
and I don't want to have just "select", etc. as commands, because they could be used in other applications.

EventGhost / Re: Using IR - TSES-IR01 transceiver

Thanks for the information.
I just hate the thought of spending more (itach, etc.) money to issue one command.

I'll take a look and see what I can come up with.

EventGhost / Using IR - TSES-IR01 transceiver
« on: November 13, 2014, 04:11:10 PM »
This is my first go at figuring out how to program an IR device, but this is what I want accomplish:

Speak, "On Screen"...have my TV change the INPUT section by sending the IR command.  This will allow me to change my TV to display the PC or "TV Time", to change it back to the original input.

I have an eHome - TSES-IR01 transceiver, but not sure how to get started.  Any help would be GREAT!
I'm assuming since this has a USB and an IR transmitter, this is all I need?  Well, and either eventghost or just voxcommando?

Thanks everyone!

Ahhh...so with splashtop you can still use your remote microphone attached to your main computer?

I know with remote desktop, it shuts down the microphone inputs.

Thanks!  I will give that a try!

Tutorials / Kalle.....question on tablet ipad integration
« on: October 27, 2014, 03:17:17 PM »
Hi Kalle,
I recently viewed a video where you have voxcommando running and have Guile3D pull up Denise on your iPad.

I am wondering if everything is running on another computer and you are accessing her from the iPad and if so, how did you get the audio remote microphone to go over the wireless to the other computer?
Did you use Virtual Audio Cable and could you send me directions on setup?  :-)

Thanks,
