XBMC VC | Error with sending commands.
« on: May 20, 2013, 09:13:44 PM »
I have configured XBMC on my Win8 (64bit) PC with a local installation of VoxCommando.
-Enabled the remote command options per the video on youtube for XMBC 12.1.
-Added the information from the DB from XBMC to VoxCommando and it accepted it.
-Ensured that VoxCommando 0.9.8.6 was ready.
-Set up my microphone and tested that it works.

But I am unable to send commands to my local XBMC setup. It simply errors out still.

Here is the error:

Here is another image showing all the events:

Here are the logs:

This error indicates that voxcommando is unable to communicate with XBMC.  Check your IP address, port, username, password, and make sure that XBMC webserver is enabled.  The settings in the xjson plugin must be correct and the settings in XBMC must be correct. Something is not configured properly.  Either that or your firewall is blocking you.  You could try to disable it to see if that is the cause.
