Hey are you part of the SC world too?

I am not much of a gamer anymore but I am 100% in to sims. T
his is the first game I am actually looked forward to so if I can combine vox with it, I will be a very very happy camper.

Great thank you James

I have been using this profile for Voiceattack

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/27nqh3/looking_for_a_voice_attack_profile_that_includes/

but since I plan to use vox for everything else, it would be nice to get StarCitizen working.

I will have a look at Kalle 's post.

Thanks again

VoxCommando Basics and Core Features / Vox and Star Citizen

Hello all.

I have been out of the loop for a short while but now I am trying to play catch up.
I am heavily invested in the game star citizen, original backer and owning a bunch of ships. They have just launched the first Alpha and I would like to have Vox help me control my ship.

I have been playing with the trail version of VoiceAttack ( http://voiceattack.com/ ) which works well but I would like to use vox instead.
Here is a video of setting up VoiceAttack http://youtu.be/jvXAWblOEJw

So my question is:

I would like to use Vox V2 to get this up and running, can anyone point me in the right starting direction.

Thank you.

Hi James, since I started my quest to get my private pilots license, I have been using Nav Canada for all my weather ( http://www.flightplanning.navcanada.ca/cgi-bin/CreePage.pl?Langue=anglais&NoSession=NS_Inconnu&Page=forecast-observation&TypeDoc=html )

Just learning the codes they use is an adventure onto its own. I have gain a great appreciation for weather forecasting. Your plugin works perfectly for me and I have been using it as a daily overview and then Navcanada for everything else.

I am still just learning but it's been a fun ride so far.

Thanks guys, I ran into the same issue a few days ago and forgot about it. I could not locate the host file, was about to make a post when I saw this today. I did as instructed and it's working fine.

Galaxy Note 2.

What's the most efficient way to do this.

After I give vox a command, and it completes it I want it to asked me
"is there anything else I can do" if I say YES then vox stays in active mode but if I
say NO then vox goes into standby mode .

Any suggestions?

Thanks Kalle, this works perfectly, I greatly appreciate your help.

I have 9 drives. 1 main drive for windows, 3 for my work,  3 wake up each night and does a back up of the first set. Then finally I have 2 removables that do a weekly backup then gets stored away.
Crazy I know.  ::confused

So what i would like to do next is to add some more options to this script. I want to check more than one drive, and tell vox to  "check drive c" or "check drive d" etc.. and then also tell Vox " Check all drives "

I have modified what you gave me so far but I am not sure how to do the above.

Do I need to do something like this
dim fs, drive1, strFreeSpace1, strFreeSpaceRounded1, drive2, strFreeSpace2, strFreeSpaceRounded2
declare all then duplicate everything from drive1 to drive9
or can I do this with [ If statements ] and loops.

Thanks again.

Is there a way to have Vox do a system check on my computer,
for example, monitor my hardware such as how much space is left on the hard drive or  Check CPU%  and Memory usage.

What I would like to do is to have vox do a system check when it starts up or I can trigger one manually.
I want to say "Vox, how much memory is in use" or "how much space is left on drive C."

Is any of this possible?

I currently use Witopia (https://www.witopia.net/) as my VPN provider and I found a nice android app called FEAT VPN ( http://www.featvpn.com/) which works with witopia and also openVPN. I use FEAT to manage all my connections. I use pfSence as my firewall, it supports openVPN and from googling around it seems simple enough to setup.

I was also thinking of seeing if i can ssh tunnel into my pfSence box using the android sshtunnel app. If that works them maybe I can forward the VoxWav ports over ssh and access VC that way. If this works then a VPN would not be needed, should be an interesting experiment.

Thank you very much for the info.
My firewall has openVPN support, so if I can set it up correctly them maybe I can tunnel into my network and use VoxWav that way.

I don't know if this can already be done, but is it possible to use VoxWav over wan. I would like to use maybe dyndns. If so can we add a way to switch between more than one host in VOX. I would like to use local lan when I am home but then use dyndns when I am away. I don't have a static wan IP .
