MediaMonkey / Can VC voice command this please
« on: January 22, 2019, 07:22:04 PM »
Hey guys, been a while. I am now trying out MM on my Android. I am using MM to simply run a playlist but whenever i should need to, I want to search for any tune in the library and Play Next or Play Now as it is doing right now, that is all.

Can VC allow me to do this with speech command please so I say for example 'play Iran by flock of seagulls next" or something similar to have the tune play next or now?

Or better yet, can VC run the command from my Android with MM playing on my pc?

Hey guys, I am looking for a way to voice control my music player's basic functions. I use a software called OTSAV DJ which is a hybrid of a Radio automation software and DJ software. I use it to simply play back my fav playlists just anyone would do with itunes, MediaMoneky e.t.c

I had gotten help for a couple of guys from the Evenghost forum who wrote a script for this enabling me to use the Snapstream remote to contol OTSAV main controls [Play, Next track e.t.c]. Now I wish to control my music player via voice commands via Android, can VC do this in any way please? If not, anything else which might work?

Hey guys, just looking into this as a possible option. On my pc which is connected to my stereo system, I use a DJ/Radio automated software which plays back my mp3's from a playlist. When hanging out with my buds I wish to be able to give a speech command whenever I wish to hear a specific tune.

I am currently looking into using a lapel mic attached to a receiver on a belt clip so when moving around I can give the speech command from anywhere of course range and surrounding crowd noises will be issues I will need to deal with. I am wondering instead of having to deal with mic issues if simply using my android phone to call up a tune will be a better option, can I use VoxCommando to make this happen please?

Hey guys, I am new here seeking some ideas. I wish to control my music via speech commands when I'm hanging out with my buds. I will need a mic for both when I'm in a closed room and also one for outdoors.
I am leaning towards a lapel mic like what is used for live TV which is pinned to your shirt so it's always close to you mouth and you can speak your commands from anywhere within range of the wireless receiver. Would this be the best option for me or is there something better please? Thanks.
